Neighbourhood

Isla Plana is s beautiful small village on Costa Calida, the warm coast, in the region of Murcia in south of Spain. Isla Plana is a hidden gem with around 1000 inhabitants, several beaches, a supermarket, pharmacy, social club and a couple of quaint restaurants. The beaches and the different blue’s of the Mediterranean sea and the clear blue skies are so beautiful and the people are very friendly.

There are not many tourists here. Being a small village Isla Plana, even though its beauty, is not that very well known except for the Spanish people. 

Isla Plana is on a coastal stretch made up of two other small and charming villages La Azohia and Bolneuvo, and the rather busy small town of Puerto de Mazarron. Puerto de Mazarron has a marina and beach walk with lots of nice restaurants. The town boasts around a hundred restaurants and bars, and several bigger supermarkets and shops. From our house the drive to Puerto de Mazarron is approx. 10 minutes.

Alicante 90 minutes

Getting Around

It is possible to order pick up from Alicante airport. Since there is a small, but good supermarket, a butcher and some restaurants and bars, you can get by without a car but our advise is to rent a car if you wish to see the surrounding areas.
