General overview
Our home is less than 7 miles from Central London.
Our area offers exceptional convenience. Hither Green Station is just a 550-metre walk door to door, providing quick links to London Bridge Station in approximately 12 minutes non-stop.
We have a massive park in front of our house, with a lake, a Manor House turned to library, tennis court, basketball court, playground, cafe, and enormous field.
Neighbourhoods comprise of young families (due to several OFSTED outstanding primary schools surrounding the area), professionals and business owners.
The space
Our home is over a century old, with high ceilings and nicely decorated interiors. We have a three-bedroom house with one bathroom and a toilet/utility room on the ground floor. We also have a good-sized garden.
We have a pomapoo dog (which we will leave with my mother when we go away. He will not be in your space or left in your care unless you wish him to stay with you.)
Guest access
13 steps up to all the bedrooms and main bathroom.
Notes
If we have a back-to-back exchange, I would request you to pay for our cleaner about £50. If not, I'm happy for you to clean before checking out if this is your preference.
We have 3 adult bikes, 2 kids' bikes, and 3 kids' scooters at your disposal. The two adult bikes can have kids' seats at the back.
We also offer our second (holiday) home in Aberdeen, Scotland for a non-simultaneous exchange, link is here -https://peoplelikeus.world/properties/36116

Neighbourhood
One of the home’s standout features is its prime location, bordering Lee conservation area and directly facing East over the picturesque park opposite - Manor House Gardens.
Manor House Gardens is a beautiful family park loved by locals (as well as SE Londoners further afield). It has a serene central lake, vibrant café, multiple tennis courts, and a nice-sized playground. The park entrance is like an extension of the house - literally across the road.
The neighbourhood is well-served by local amenities, including a large Sainsbury’s supermarket just 600 metres away on Lee Green, and a selection of popular restaurants such as 'Carola' (700-metres) and 'Luciano’s' (850-metres). For a more relaxed family atmosphere, take your pick between the Station Pub (400 metres opposite Hither Green Station) or the Lord Northbrook pub (850-metres just before Lee Station) which is a local favourite.
Blackheath Village and Greenwich are nearby. As a family we love walking, scootering or cycling to either or both these beautiful places.
There are a number of Electric Vehicles charging units on our street and surrounding streets should you plan to rent a car.
Getting to my home
By rail, by car, by cycle
Nearest airport

Getting around
Walking distance to train stations, shops and local restaurants.
Greenwich is walkable for those who love to walk around and discover places. Overlooking Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory is the site of the Greenwich meridian line. The Greenwich meridian was the international standard prime meridian, used worldwide for timekeeping and navigation.
If you fancy driving to quaint English villages, historic castles, Lavander fields, farms, our area is about 25-45 minutes drives to Kent which is known as the Garden of England.

Hello, I'm looking for exchange - simultaneously (for our home in London) or non-simultaneously (for our place in Scotland) or a globe
We are 2 adults with 3 girls ages 8, 10, 12 years old.
Our London home has 3 bedrooms and 10 -12 mins by train to London Bridge
Our Scotland holiday home has 1 bedroom. Walking distance to the harbour, city centre and train stations. About an hour drive to Balmoral Castle/ Cairngorms National Park
We travel a number of times throughout the year, so feel free to check with me if our home in London is available for non-sim exchange.
We both love the countryside and cities with no allergies, happy to look after any pets and plants. We are non-smoker, keep your home tidy, clean and loved as if it is our own while you are away, and we hope you will treat ours the same.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
