It is very close to the harbour. It's less than a mile from Duthie Park, a great spot for architectural features. The space

Our holiday home in “Silver City Beside the Sea” or simply called, “The Granite City”, the stunning stone that the city is largely made up of even our home. We hope you will have a great time discovering and exploring this city, surrounding towns, the highlands and the lowlands. We are happy to share our special holiday home with you and truly hope you enjoy it as much as we do. This city is home to a superb wildlife community. From sorts of sea birds to vast amount of large bottlenose dolphins, it’s quite the haven for nature enthusiasts. We have a large 1 bedroom with king size bed and sofabed in the living room. Access to communal garden. It was build more than a hundred years ago in old traditional granite stone with high ceilings and windows. It has a spacious bedroom, warm and cozy lounge, well equipped kitchen and good sized, well-lit bathroom.

Guest access

The flat is in the ground floor. However, there are 2 steps in the main building hallway to get to our flat.

Notes

We ask guests to pay our regular cleaner of £50 after their stay. This is because we rent out our home in Scotland, and guests are expecting a high standard of cleaning and re-setting the place.

Neighbourhood

One of the oldest walkway bridges in Aberdeen, the Wellington Suspension bridge, is just behind the flat, while the School’s Boathouse (Aberdeen University) is just a short 1 minute walk along the River Dee with it’s main source in Cairngorms, it runs through the Royal Deeside, where Queen Victoria built Balmoral Castle. (The Queen Elizabeth’s favourite residence). The city is set on the East coast and close to some of Scotland’s greatest landscapes. It is great for soaking up the warm sunshine. Within a relatively short distance are many of Scotland’s best distilleries and along the Spey Valley Whisky Trail and surrounding area you can enjoy tours to Glenfiddich, Glenlivet and many more smaller distilleries. This area is a dream for whisky Lovers.
