General overview
Located about 15 minutes North of Downtown in a gated community. This is normally a rental property for us, but we are temporarily living here until Sept. 2023 while our home undergoes an addition. Here is a link to our other property https://peoplelikeus.world/en/properties/7072
The space
The house has 2 bedrooms with a bathroom attached to each. One upstairs and one downstairs. Upstairs also has a loft/office. There is a small patio with a BBQ grill accessible from the living room or downstairs bedroom. There is a community pool that is almost always vacant.

Neighbourhood
Very diverse neighborhood. Within a 5 minute walk there is a great Mexican bakery that you can often smell when you walk outside, a super Mercado, an Asian grocery store, a super Target, and a dozen or so restaurants and food trucks.
Getting to my home
It is about a $25/20 minute taxi/Uber ride from the airport. It would be possible to take public transit as well but would probably take about an hour as you would likely have to make at least 1-2 transfers.
Nearest airport
(AUS) A.B.I.A.. (Be aware that some discount airlines fly into the South Terminal about 20 minutes away by shuttle bus from ABIA)
Getting around
While public transit is an option, and there is a bus stop a block from the house, a car is really the best way to get around. We may be open to including a vehicle as part of the exchange. The location has very convenient access to all of Austin's main freeways.
