Our home is in a wonderful location for accessing the mountains, city life or even Dinosaur provincial park. It is a 5 minute drive to either Fish Creek provincial park or Glenmore reservoir, both of which have awesome scenery, walking and bike paths. We have great access to the new southwest ring road which makes the drive to Banff and area much easier. You can access world class skiing/hiking/biking or just enjoy a leisurely stroll around Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise and area. Canmore is a 1 hour drive and Banff is 1 hour and 15 minutes. 1 hour and 30 minutes to the east is Dinosaur provincial park with the famous Tyrell dinosaur museum and the ‘Badlands’, great for hiking or just seeing very unique landscapes.

The Space

The house has an open concept living area with a gas fireplace.  A kitchen island that seats four comfortably and also a dining table that can seat 6 (8 with extensions). The main bedroom has a king size bed, small 3 piece ensuite, sitting area with a gas fireplace and also sliding glass doors out to the hot tub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has a single bed. The lower level also has a bedroom with a queen bed, 3 piece bathroom and sitting area with second tv. The south facing backyard gets lots of sun.

Neighbourhood

We live in a suburban neighborhood, with friendly neighbours. There is a grocery store a 10 minute walk away, and bus service around the area, but you will need a car to access the incredible destinations around Calgary.

Nearest airport

Calgary international airport is about 30 minute drive away.

My husband and I have recently retired and are looking forward to the ongoing adventure. I have retired from a career in the travel and tourism industry, and my husband is retiring from a career in software development. We have been fortunate to have travelled extensively, and are comfortable in anything from 5 star hotels to hostels. We are open to most areas of the world.
