General Overview

Discover San Miguel de Allende, Mexico (voted Best City in the World) from our comfortable, kid-friendly home. Interior photos coming soon - we just moved in and the house isn't quite photo-ready yet. We live in a gated community just outside the city center, but close enough to walk to things (there's also a bus and Ubers/taxis are plentiful and cheap).

The Space

This is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom upper unit with a bonus room (den/office with four desks). Ample outdoor space that overlooks the biggest pool (the complex also has a lap pool and adult-only pool). Enjoy the gym, steam room, and paddle courts. Because it's outside the historic center, we enjoy peace and quiet, which can be hard to come by in San Miguel. 24-hour security guards, weekly cleaning service, and the possibility of hiring our cook.

Guest Access

We are located in an upper unit, so there is a set of stairs to climb. The main living space is all on one level, but the den/office is up a set of stairs.

Neighbourhood

The complex has 3 pools, a jacuzzi, steam rooms, a gym, and paddle courts. It's very quiet and well-maintained. Security guards and a maintenance staff can help you with anything you need.

Nearest airport

Leon (BJX) and Queretaro airports are both 1.5 hours away; otherwise Mexico City is 3.5 hours away and there is a direct luxury coach bus to SMA.

Getting Around

Our gated community is a half-hour walk into town, 15 minutes to the biggest supermarkets, or an easy bus ride (there's a bus stop close by). I don't own a car and get around on foot, or by bus/taxi.

Please note that we can primarily only travel/exchange during school holidays. We are a trilingual (English, French, Spanish) mom and 11-year-old son who love traveling. We are responsible and careful and will treat your house like our own. And we love our house!
