General overview

Our home is located in the heart of the vibrant High Country town of Mansfield in North East Victoria, Australia.

The space

The house is a light filled 4 bedroom , 2.5 bathroom house with separate living areas and plenty of space for everyone. The large backyard and shady garden is a beautiful place to relax and enough space for your furry friends to roam. There is a dog park straight out the back gate . The house is gorgeously decorated and well appointed, with lovely linen, fluffy doonas and soft towels. Sleeps 9 people comfortable, Master room (Bedroom 1)- King bed, Bedroom 2 - Queen, Bedroom 3- Queen and single, Bedroom 4- 2 x single beds. Fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, and laundry. Outdoor firepit for the cooler months.

Guest access

There are three steps from the carport to the house but once inside the house is all on one level.

Neighbourhood

The house is a short 8 minute walk to the town centre shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. One block from the Footy Oval and sports precinct, skatepark and Swimming pool. Tennis courts and dog park are at the back of the property via the back gate. The Great Victorian Rail trail starts at the end of the street next to the Tourist Info centre and Heritage Museum.- 3 minute bike ride from the house! The tourist information centre can arrange many activities including 4wd tours to the high country, hiking tours, bike tours , winery tours of the nearby King Valley and Yarra Valleys. In the snow season, buses leave from the nearby bus station ( 5 minute walk) to Mt Buller on a regular basis, making a day trip to the snow effortless. Mansfield has an excellent 18 hole golf course that is 2 blocks from the house.

Getting to my home

Mansfield is a 2.5 hour drive from Melbourne in North East Victoria. There is a v-line bus that departs Southern Cross Station in Melbourne twice a day. It is a short walk from the bus station to the house, or taxis also operate in the town.

Pop

We are a couple with 4 adult sons that have flown the coop. Matthew (Moz) and Ann (Pop) are looking forward to semi retirement in the next few years with exciting travels, adventures and some relaxation. Moz has been working away from home as a consultant and Pop has been Managing their Property Management, holiday rental business in the Victorian High Country. We are very experienced in caring for and respecting properties owned by our many clients. Our own property is well maintained and presentable and we will treat other properties with the same respect and care.
