Neighbourhood
Rogers Park is a diverse, lakefront neighborhood in Chicago's far north side, known for its cultural mix, arts scene, and green spaces. Located about nine miles north of the Loop, it features a variety of architecture, public murals, international restaurants, live theaters, and beaches along Lake Michigan. The neighborhood is also home to Loyola University's Lakeshore Campus.
We love stepping outside our door and being able to enjoy Lake Michigan but also being in a lively city neighborhood. We appreciate hearing so many languages spoken in our community and how welcoming our neighborhood is to people from around the world.
Nearest airport
O’hare airport is one hour by public transport or 30 minutes by car.
Getting Around
There are restaurants, cafés, grocery stores, and a summertime farmer’s market nearby. The stop for the Red Line of the elevated train is a 7 minute walk away. This line operates 24 hours a day and is one of the main north-south lines. There are many attractions along this route and it can take you downtown and connect to other lines. The nearest bus stop that goes downtown is 2 minutes away.
