General Overview
We live on 20 acres acres surrounded by crown land. Endless trails and hiking opportunities! We have two old horses and a friendly cat. Cat lives outside. Horses love being groomed and fed apples and carrots. Not for riding due to insurance issues. We live almost 1/2 hour outside of the city. A car will be necessary as we are rural. It is a picturesque country drive. We are 10 minutes away from a great golf course, horse riding stables and a 20. minutes to a nice winery with a bistro. Kamloops is a small city but a main crossroads. Our nearby ski hill, Sun Peaks, is the 2nd largest ski area in Canada. Great skiing in the winter, great hiking in the alpine field in the summer. They just several outdoor concerts in the summer months. The nearby Okanagan area boasts 100’s of award winning wineries. There are over 100 lakes within an hours drive. Excellent for paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. Shuswap lake is a large lake, warm in the summer months and several options to rent boats or seadoos. Kamloops is a small city but there several tasty restaurants and the city park hosts live music, free of charge, every evening in July and Aug.
The Space
New build- we are still doing finishing touches. by May 2026. 3 bedroom home - 1 room is used as an office. All bedrooms are upstairs. Main floor has kitchen, living room, media room and full bathroom. Outside is a covered deck, cooking area, large hot tub and campfire area. Very peaceful and very private.
We can do non-sim exchanges in the summer months and our home is often available for non-sim over Christmas
Guest Access
The living area is on the main floor, bedrooms are upstairs.
Notes
The home has two floors and the bedrooms are upstairs. There is a large media room on the main floor that could be used as a main floor sleeping room. We are remote and guests will need to drive approximately 20 min for a pub, grocery store, and pharmacy.
