General overview

Our home is a classic Portland four square in the historic, well known neighborhood of Laurelhurst. We are close to historic Laurelhurst Park, across the street from a school playground, close to the Hollywood District, Alberta Arts District and Lloyd Center. Driving to downtown takes about ten minutes, and we are a ten minute walk to the Hollywood Max Station. Our house is ideal for any traveler, but parents traveling with children will particularly appreciate the neighborhood kid friendly location. Centrally located in a beautiful neighborhood - 10 minutes to downtown. Great backyard with bbq - excellent for kids. Living room with fireplace, large kitchen, 4 bedrooms, lots of space.

The space

The house has four bedrooms, a living room with fireplace and connected dining room which seats eight. We have central AC which is rare for Portland, but much needed for summer. We also have a spacious backyard built for kids and bbq. Other amenities include an elliptical and treadmill in the basement, hulu, netflix and hbo. Excellent wifi coverage.

Guest access

There are three floors, a basement for laundry and workout, a main level and an upper level with the bedrooms. There are 17 steps that connect the downstairs from the upstairs.

Neighbourhood

What you will love in the neighborhood We live in inner Northeast Portland in the Laurelhurst neighborhood. It is one of the most desirable places to live in Portland. It takes about ten minutes to get downtown from here by car. The max line is a ten minute walk from here and takes about 15 minutes on the train to get to downtown. We're near the Hollywood District, Alberta Arts District and Lloyd Center district. We have large parks in every direction, markets that provide local Oregon foods, lots of shopping and walking around.

Getting around

We're open to a car exchange. The light rail (called "the max" in Portland) is a ten minute walk, as are multiple bus stops.
