General Overview

Sunny, spacious , private oasis in Santa Monica . Wall to wall windows brighten this 2 story townhome 12 blocks from the beach. My two bedroom and 1 and 1/2 bath place has all bamboo floors and Gorgeous outdoor patios on 2 floors.  You never hear any of the neighbors because it’s the end unit.  Walk to everywhere. Trendy restaurants and popular coffee shops are just a couple blocks away.
We have two farmers markets a week, Wednesday and Saturday, in the heart of Santa Monica. Plus the fresh fish market is 3 blocks away. The best bakery in the city is one block away plus many coffee, shops and trendy restaurants.
It’s easy to get around on bus or train.  We are 1 block from the bus that will take you to UCLA, Beverly Hills and Hollywood.  Or catch the train 8 blocks away and zoom downtown. 

Santa Monica is the place that everyone in Los Angeles wants to live.  It has the most gorgeous homes and gardens, it’s steps away from  so many great hiking trails and you can walk everywhere.  I’ve created a map of my favorite walks and restaurants.  Even though it’s easy to walk around Santa Monica, I suggest renting a car if you want to really see Southern California. A day trip to Santa Barbara would be nice.  I have parking.

The Space

My apartment is two stories. To get up to my apartment you have to walk up a flight of stairs.  There is a full bathroom on the second floor and a half bath on the first floor.  The second story has a beautiful outside patio. .  My home is very quiet and comfortable. I love to cook so my kitchen is fully stocked.

Getting Around

It’s best to rent a car. I have off street parking so it’s easy.  But because Los Angeles is such a spacious place you’re going to want to have access to a car.  Santa Monica is very easy to walk every where.

Marcia’s home has such a peaceful atmosphere. Our family felt right at home. It’s in the very best location for Los Angeles. She was right when she said that everything was in walking distance. Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s are just around the corner. We found so many cute little coffee shops and restaurants. The hiking trails were just a 15 minute car ride. I definitely recommend Marcia's beautiful home.

It was such a pleasure staying at Marcia‘s place in Santa Monica. It’s such a beautiful two two-story apartment. We could get to every place on foot. We didn’t even need a car. Her kitchen is very well stocked with everything we needed to make cooking easy. You can really tell she likes to cook. The apartment is 12 blocks to the beach. We really took advantage of walking there. She had plenty of towels for us to use and even some chairs and a couple bikes. No matter where you’re traveling from I really suggest you book with MARCIA’s place. Don’t look at her calendar because sometimes she’ll just decide to take a trip. Great experience!
