Our beautiful island home is located in a quiet neighborhood. We had only 2 neighbors so far, but currently they are building few more houses around (said to be finished by May 2024). There is a major influx of construction on the island currently, so it is bit more noisy during the day. Even with the current construction in our area, we don't feel very disturbed, but if you will be spending a lot of time at home, and need silence it might not be the best location for now.
Distance from the beach
Our Persian cat diva - Frida, will be requiring some feeding, litterbox clean and some loving from time to time, but she's very independent, and in general is just left to her own little cat life.
You will also need to take care of our little plant jungle, but the plants are low maintenance, so it will be very easy.
We include Honda PCX motorbike with the house, so you can enjoy exploring this beautiful island. It's the easiest and most enjoyable way to move around the island. There are Songthaew taxis, but they are quite expensive, and not sustainable for every day travel. We can offer contacts for car or bicycle rentals, but the most common way of transport is using motorbike. We have one bicycle also that you can use during your stay.
The space
2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, equipped kitchen (island style), super comfy sofa with 65inch smart TV, dinning area, loads of greenery around. Very bright and spacious with big windows and a lot of daylight.
Bedroom 1 - en suite, we use this one for sleeping, has king size bed big window and newly renovated bathroom.
Bedroom 2 - Maciej uses this room as his work space (a man cave ), has big desk for computer work, very bright with 3 big windows, also has king size bed.
Living room/dinning area/kitchen - it's an open L-shaped area with a lot of daylight. Second bathroom is accessible from here.
Free standing 60L electric oven, air fryer, blender, food processor, loads of cupboards, refrigerator with freezer, island in the middle for some kitchen shenanigans.
Guest access
few steps to access the house as it's built on short stilts.
for now it is a dirt road, but with the new development most likely we will get better road. Sadly not suitable for wheelchair access.
Notes
this is our primary home and we can only offer it for exchange when we are travelling ourselves.
We usually go during "low seasons" - May-June then October-November

Our house is located 5 minute motorbike drive from both Sri Thanu beach and HingKong beach, where all the magic of west coast of the island happens.
This area is well known for the amazing food selection, from Thai, Persian, Middle eastern, Vegan, you name it, Yogi and health conscious community, interesting workshops and conscious events. Our island has a lot to offer, and it seems to be attracting expats from all around the world.
Getting to my home
Few options
1. Flying to Samui airport, then taking 30 min speedboat to Koh Phangan, Tongsala pier.
2. Flying to Surat Thani airport, then taking bus + 3 hour ferry ride to Koh Phangan Tomgsala pier
3. Taking overnight bus from Bangkok, this is the cheapest but also the longest way of getting here. Bus takes you to mainland Donsak pier and then ferry to the island, allis included in the ticket (currently at 1200b pp)
4. Taking train from Bangkok to Surat Thani, then bus and boat to Koh Phangan, Tongsala pier.
From the pier you need to get a taxi, or we can pick you up if we still here to do take over.
Nearest airport
Samui Airport or Surat Thani airport
Getting around
Best way is to use motorbike, which we provide with the house, but you can also rent a car or bicycle if you wish.
it was absolutely a dream come true. Beautiful island, pristine waters, sun shines all the time. The house is clean and bright, well equipped, very comfy beds. Cat Frida is definitely a character, took her time to warm up to us, but after she did, it was a lot of fun to take care of her. She's low maintenance and most of the day keeps to herself. The use of motorbike was also very helpful, it's the best way to go around this beautiful island.
We would be looking forward to coming back here for sure if Kinga and Maciej will have us again.
Wonderful guests. We met on zoom and had a great time talking and sharing travel experiences.
Kinga is super organized and a master communicator. They left our place in excellent shape, took care
a couple of things that we needed help with being away for several weeks.
I hope that we meet in person somewhere in the world one day!
Kinga and her family were wonderful guests! They were excellent communicators, very respectful, and left the house nice and clean for us when we returned home. They even left some Thai and Polish treats for us! My kids were delighted.
I would absolutely host them again, they were lovely guests!
Due to circumstances out of anybody's control, Kinga didn't end up being able to come to our house. However, I still wanted to leave a review, since she was so pleasant and responsive in our communication. They seem like nice people, and I wish them many happy travels!
Kinga, sorry for the delay, we have been traveling as well. Just got home. The house was left in a very good state, and would love to be able to host you again. Thank you for your gift.
I thoroughly enjoyed Kinga and family at my house. They were so self sufficient, clean, respectful of my home and cheerful. I felt immediate friendship with them, and know we will remain friends for sure. They will be more than welcome anytime to visit!!
great communication, overall very positive experience. We haven't met in person yet, but hopefully soon.
Staying at Mirka's house was an absolute treat. The house is stunning, very comfortable and clean. The pool is a welcomed heat relief after a day of exploration. Mirka and Tomasz were very kind to invite us for this hospitality exchange, we also met with their friends and had absolutely amazing time in Chandler.
Thank you very much. And hopefully see you somewhere in the world.
This house is a dream. Our family of 5 had a pleasure of being the first exchage group staying in Selene beautiful home.
We felt very comfortable and homey, it was exactly what we needed after intense travels. We met Selene and her children upon arrival and felt very welcomed, the communication throughout the stay was great and we could resolve any issues immediately.
Both Nevada City and Grass Valley are very quaint and charming towns, and there's a lot to do in the area.
We are very grateful to be able to stay in Selene's house and spend some quality family time.
Thank you again ❤️
Sadly we had to cancel our stay with Marsha and her family, due to my mums bad knee.
Marsha was very accommodating and helpful, gave us loads of tips and we had great communication throughout the whole process. We hope one day we can still meet and organise an exchange.
Thank you.
Our family of 5 absolutely loved Alan's home. Initially we were only to stay 2 nights, but requested to extend by 3 more, and Alan was very accommodating and helpful. House is located about 25min drive from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas in very quiet residential area. Very spacious and super comfortable place, with all amenities necessary for your stay.
Alan was responsive and helpful with any questions /issues we had.
Thank you again for having us and hopefully see you in Thailand.
Barbara's place is very homey. We really felt like in mama's place. It's located about an hour from SF center, so you would need a car to commute, but we loved being away from the madness of the city. House have all amenities you need.
Dear Kinga and family,
I absolutely enjoyed hosting you and your family. After your arrival, we had an immediate friendship!
Great, clean, self sufficient guests!
Let’s definitely keep in touch, and I hope you all come back sometime!
Kind regards,
Barbara
everything was great. Dorotas apartment is small but very sweet, it feels like home away from home. it was convenient for us to stay as close to family and friends. Place was clean and fully equipped. It is in a low rise apartment block in a quiet road. around 15 minutes walk from train station connecting to Warsaw in 30 min
Small but very cosy place, wirg about 10 min walk to train station with direct transport to Warsaw. Clean and tidy with a lot of personal touches.
Our house and a cat were taken care of very well. We kept communicating through the stay and they were very attentive and responsive. Great guests.

Kinga
Hey world. We're Kinga and Maciej, originally from Poland, but living on a tropical island of Koh Phangan, Thailand for last 10 years, where we're running a vegan restaurant.
We love travelling whenever we can, usually trying to do it twice a year during the "low seasons " of the island, when we're not as busy with the restaurant duties.
As we have beach around us all the time, we usually prefer to travel to mountainous destinations with fresher air, where we can feel a bit cooler :).
We love exploring new places, experience how is it to live someone else's life for a bit, and exchanging homes is the best way to do it for sure.
We are new on this platform, but have been members of other one for few years, with few exchanges and some references.
Looking forward to experience your part of the world :D
