General Overview

Private and quiet and we love the picture windows overlooking our garden and the songbirds. Bungalow on a dead end street. Private and bird-friendly garden with native plants. Walking distance to downtown Comox and Comox Marina 5 minutes to local beaches 10 minutes to YQQ (Comox International Airport) 40 minutes to Mt Washington Ski Resort Comox Valley is made up of three inter-connected communities: Comox, Courtenay and Cumberland, all within easy driving distance. The Valley has an excellent selection of local wineries, craft breweries and ethnic dining establishments. There’s public transportation as well as EVO e-scooters and e-bikes.

The Space

One level home. Off street parking. Central heating, gas fireplace. Kitchen, living room, dining room open concept. Zero-gravity queen bed in main bedroom, Murphy bed (wall bed) in second bedroom. Both very comfy. Walk-in shower (no tub) The dining table is by two picture windows, great for bird watching (we may ask you to fill the two feeders if it's winter!) Sparrows, juncos, towhees, humming bird, sometimes a hawk swooping by looking for lunch (unsuccessfully) Screened-in porch off the kitchen for summer dining and book reading.

Notes

Shops, clinics, grocery store, Comox Marina are all within walking distance. The Community Centre is 'next door' with two tennis courts (free access) and offers many other activities such as a gym, squash, table tennis
