General overview

This is our magical second home that we also rent out so the calendar can be quite full as it's super popular and garners a 4.8 in reviews. There are 5 bedrooms-sleeping maximum 12 with 3.5 bathrooms. The unobstructed mountain view is magnificent and goes on for miles. We love hanging out with 2 other families in the large great room with ample seating and a pool table including a plethora of games. This is a quiet neighborhood and perfect for families and pets. Within the community, there is a shared hot tub.

The space

Our home beckons for lively family reunions or a gathering of friends. Enjoy the comforts of a well-appointed home with an open living area, a kitchen perfect for collaborative cooking and a dining room with seating for up to 11, replete with big meadow views. In the living room, you will find a 50-inch flat screen TV and a wood burning fireplace for cozying up. You can unwind on the sofa, love seat, or comfy arm chairs. Just a few steps away, there is a pool table for added amusement. The unit features two primary suites, both offering king size beds and flat screen TV's. One primary suite is located on the first level and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower only and the other is on the third level with an en-suite bathroom with a shower/bath combo. The first guest room has a queen bed and a flat-screen TV and is located on the main level. The second guest room has a bunk bed with a queen size on the bottom and a twin on the top, as well as a flat-screen TV and is located on the first level. The third guest room has two new twin beds and a flat-screen TV and is also located on the first level. There is a laundry room, a community hot tub, private 2 car garage, wireless internet, and a gas BBQ Grill. No smoking. While our home is pet friendly, there are strict rules within the neighborhood as dogs must be leashed at all times.

Guest access

The primary living space is on the third level so you will need to climb one set of stairs. The kitchen is on this level as well as one master. At mid-level is one bedroom and then, the remaining second master and 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor.

Neighbourhood

Boasting the highest lift-served summit in California at 11,053 feet, Mammoth is the leading four-season mountain resort in the state offering year-round lodging and endless outdoor recreation. Our winters are long and legendary – known for some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the United States. When the snow melts, Mammoth Mountain transforms into a summer recreation mecca, providing boundless activities, exploration and adventures. Yosemite entrance from Mammoth is only 30 minutes away via the Tioga Pass.

Getting to my home

There are new flights to Yosemite/Mammoth Mountain Airport as well as expanding flight options from Bishop which is a 40 minute drive. Most Southern California residents drive to this destination as it's the top ski resort in CA and got the most snow of any US ski resort last year.

Nearest airport

Yosemite Airport--10 miles.

Getting around

Our home requires a car for access but there are free shuttles around town to get you from one place to the next.

TIFFANY

We are a travel loving six-some enjoying local and trips afar--2 boys--ages 13 & 15--and my mom and dad. My immediate family lived internationally for 6 years and now, back in CA to begin US and International travel. We look forward to exploring your local treasures. Happy to be back with my parents after years apart and want to catch up on the memories.
