General overview
We feel our apartment is a couples paradise. Walking distance for the beach, harbour with amazing restaurants, most trendy shopping street in The Hague and a stones throw from public transportation to bring you downtown and beyond. It's comfy, quiet, equipped, recently decorated, and warm.
The space
Entering the apartment on the street level you first come to the coat and bike storage. Once you hang up your coat and enter through the double glass doors, the cozy living room awaits you. Build a fire in the fireplace, get cozy on the leather couch. Through the metal stall doors you come to the dining space and large fully equipped kitchen. Two more glass doors welcome you to the paved garden with lounge set. in the evening the garden lights up for warm evenings outside. Via the dining area is another set of glass wooden doors that lead you to the ground floor master bedroom, full bathroom and separate toilet. A perfect suite for a couple. Up the stairs you will find a second toilet, washing machine and small shower room. One more flight up the stairs and you will find a second bedroom with a full size four poster bed. Both bedrooms face the back of the house with the ground floor bedroom opening up to the garden.
Guest access
90% of the apartment is on the ground floor. If you need the use the second bedroom, you have to walk up two flights of stairs.
Notes
Everything is walking distance including public transportation which will bring you near and far. The best restaurants are within walking distance. The famous Frederikhendriklaan shopping street is only two blocks away where you will find excellent gift shops, book stores, cafes, bakery's, grocery stores and restaurants. You do not need a car.

Neighbourhood
Statenkwartier is one of the best neighbourhoods in The Hague. The architecture is very traditional dutch with high brick houses and wide sidewalks. The neighbourhood is very International as it is literally right in the International Zone between the city centre and the beach and harbour.
Getting around
We are literally a stones throw away from the Tram 16 which will take you into the city centre in 15 minutes and to central station for a connection to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Schiphol Airport.
