Our beautiful barn conversion, lovingly transformed 20 years ago, is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Our home has lovely features, including an impressive inglenook fireplace, offering a warm and inviting aeea in the living space. Its also set up with a home office so perfect for remote workers.
Calling all nature lovers. 🍂🍃 You will love the picturesque walks a short distance away, long or short with views for mile! The beaches are jus 50 minutes away too.
Despite its serene setting, our home is just a short distance from local amenities to a charming little market town offering the best of both rural and modern lifestyles. Whether you're looking for a cozy family home or a countryside retreat, our converted barn home offers a unique blend of character, comfort, and space.
The space
The heart of the home is the open-plan living kitchen, designed for both family living and relaxing, with ample space for cooking, dining, and chilling in comfort.
Please note we have an induction cooker that uses magnets so isn't suitable for anyone cooking who uses a pace maker.
When you’re done adventuring, our cozy snug with a TV provides the perfect room for quiet evenings or movie nights.
We have 3 generously sized bedrooms, 2 set up as double and one kids room with a single bed, plus the option for a fourth double can be set up, and 3 contemporary bathrooms, 2 full and one wc, there’s plenty of space for you all to lounge and feel at home. We also have a separate utility room to use.
Set on an expansive acre of land, you can enjoy a beautifully landscaped garden where we get all sorts of birds to see from the kitchen. The garden is ideal for outdoor entertaining or simply enjoying the peace of the countryside. We have an all weather sun deck to enjoy too with the most amazing sunsets 🌅 We are not overlooked by anyone so you have full privacy.
Out equipped home office provides an excellent working environment without leaving the property with reliable WiFi. Safe, off-street parking ensures convenience and security for your stay.
Guest access
There are 2 floors with easy step free access to the house. The house is secure behind a wooden gate so any pets can be let out safely.
There is parking off street again safe, behind a gate.
Notes
We are a little out of town and the nearest amenities are a drive away or you can get a delivery of groceries.
The dog will be at the grandparents so the house will be fully yours.

Neighbourhood
We live near a lovely little market town where you can find an award winning local butcher, coffee shops, boutique shops, post office, antique shops and supermarkets. We also have restaurants and great pubs not too far away. The town has access to parks and walks all around.
Not far from us are lovely beaches like Exmouth or Lyme Regis (about 45 minutes away), Taunton where you can catch a train to Bristol or Exeter and then onto Devon and Cornwall
Getting to my home
You can drive to us or get a train and bus. The closest train stations are Taunton and Tiverton Parkway (9 miles) you can get a taxi to us from there pretty easily.
Nearest airport
The closest airport is Exeter (about 30 mins and Bristol Airport (1 hour)
Getting around
We are a 20 min walk to the nearest shops but you can uber groceries to you or order in advance. Once in town you can catch a bus to multiple places including the coast or train station.

Hi we are a family of 3 who love going on adventures whether thats close to home or aboard. We live out in the countryside so enjoy getting to experience things very different to us. As a couple me and my husband have backpacked around Asia & Africa and now we want to start experiencing the world as a young family. Our daughter is super adventurous and we can't wait to see her thrive on her travels.
We are home owners so are very respectful to others properties as if it were our own. We can't wait to start seeing more of the world!
We have a little dog who will come with us when we can or will stay at the grandparents when we are not home.
