General Overview

We live in an old building with lots of space and south facing windows that get a good deal of sun, even in the wintertime. As we've got the space, we work from home with desk space in the office and bedroom. The guest bedroom/office has a couch which folds out to a full size bed that sleeps two, if you'll need that in addition to the bedroom bed we are happy to accommodate. The favourite thing about our place is our location in a vibrant neighbourhood - a selection of great cafes, restaurants, bars, parks and galleries are all just down the street. We'd love to recommend our favourite nearby walks and attractions if you ask - a gallery in an old brutalist church? A canalside petanque court? All the tucked away courtyard restaurants and cafes? We've got you! We don't have pets but we have hosted cats and dogs here in the past with no problems.

We are from the US and UK originally but we now live in the lively Kreuzberg where we work from home as freelancers (animation and video game design). Though we have used Airbnb and FB groups to do flat exchanges and rentals before, we have always been searching for something like People Like Us - so happy to have found it now. We frequently visit our friends and family in the NYC and London area and are also open to new destinations, especially ones we can get the train too. We'd love to have time with my younger sister in the NJ/NYC area as she is expecting our family's first baby in winter 2026, so I'm always open to that location. Harry and I would also love to visit Japan, Borneo, South Korea or Mongolia in 2027, please let me know if you would like to exchange! We are generally open to new places (however we have some friends to visit in these locations).
