Getting Around

The most convenient way to get around is by car. Trailways offers a bus service from New York Port Authority to Rosendale. There is Uber and Lyft in the area. Amtrak offers a train service from New York Penn Station to Rhinecliff. It's a 35 minute drive to the house.

Susan

We are looking for exchanges that would accommodate two adults and a child. Sometimes we would have our college age kids travel with us so in those situations, we would be a family of 5. Alastair is a Politics professor and I am a Human Resources Executive. We are British and Canadian, but have lived in the United States for more than half of our lives. Our younger daughter is 11 so we are mostly able to do simultaneous exchanges during school holidays (mid-February, Easter, Summer and Christmas). We have a secondary property in the Hudson Valley so would be able to accommodate non-simultaneous exchanges for limited time frames. We typically can't do weekend exchanges unless it's an exchange of a lifetime. We are looking for people who are passionate about traveling, exploring new places and experiencing the diversity of New York City. We are excited to share our love of NYC with you.
