The space

Our house is located in La Prairie, on the south shore of Montreal. We are about 20 km from downtown Montreal and transportation by car, bike, bus, subway or taxi is very easy. We have a large climatized house (270 m2) on 3 floors that can accommodate up to 8 people. We have 4 bedrooms (queen beds), 2 bathrooms and a nice basement. We have all the amenities. There is also a heated in-ground pool, a terrace, a small garden and a BBQ. Our car and 5 bikes may also be available.

Notre maison est située à La Prairie, sur la banlieue Sud de Montréal. Nous sommes à environ 20 km du centre-ville de Montréal et le transport par voiture, vélo, autobus, métro ou taxi est très facile. Nous avons une grande maison (270 m2) climatisée sur 3 étages pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes. Nous disposons de 4 chambres (lits queen), 2 salles de bain et le sous-sol est aménagé. Nous disposons de toutes les commodités. Il y a aussi une piscine creusée chauffée, une terrasse, un petit jardin et un BBQ. Notre voiture ainsi que 5 vélos peuvent également être disponibles.

André and Nancy very kindly offered to host us for a few days at the start of a long road trip round the Canadian Maritimes. We arrived on a late flight from Europe but were greeted with supper and yummy homemade maple syrup cake for dessert. We enjoyed very much staying at their lovely house - and in their amazing swimming pool! Nancy and André are really lovely and fun people, who told us a lot about their city, country, history etc, so we had many good talks and have become good friends. After we treated them to dinner downtown they took us to their favourite ice cream place for dessert and even sent us off with more delicious maple syrup and chocolate treats. We were only sorry that our schedule didn’t allow us to stay any longer, but really hope we can come back some other time. We highly recommend an exchange with this great couple! Their house is in a nice quiet neighbourhood in La Prairie, but it was easy to get to Montreal city centre by driving to a metro station and hopping on a train.

We had a amazing time staying with Andre and Nancy their hospitality was amazing even cooked meals for us and helped us to learn about the french culture and differences between Quebec and the ROC..I hope that they will come to Mexico to visit us in the near future

Now that our children are grown up and they are not really traveling with us anymore, we want to keep discovering new countries and new cultures!
