General Overview

This is our holiday home, where we come a few times a year to relax and unwind. We are literally just steps away from the beach and can hear the ocean at night when we leave windows open.

The Space

Our home has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another small one with a bunk bed. It can accommodate a couple or a family with children. The house has three floors: on the first, you will find the bedrooms and the bathroom, on the second floor is the open kitchen overlooking the ocean and the living area, and finally on the last floor is the roof-top terrace with breathtaking view over the ocean and Sesimbra's castle.

Guest Access

Our home is made of many stairs and kids should be extra careful when handling them.

Notes

Sesimbra is best enjoyed off season. July and August can be very busy with many Portuguese holiday makers who come to Sesimbra to enjoy the beach. We are actively looking for globes. Our calendar is up to date!

Neighbourhood

Sesimbra is a quiet little town for most of the year, where you will be able to experience to Portuguese way of life. There are restaurants, cafés and a daily market just outside the door. Our home is located in the very centre of the town and everything is easily accessible.

Getting to my home

From Lisbon airport, you can either take a taxi or Uber for about 30€ (40 minute ride) or take the metro to Sete Rios and bus 3721 to Sesimbra (1,5 hour).

Nearest airport

Lisbon airport is 40 minutes away by car.

Getting Around

You don't need a car, as everything is easily accessible by foot. If you do come by car, there are a few parking options nearby, but parking in the summer can be difficult.
