Well what can I say, what an absolutely beautiful apartment this was! We loved everything! The interiors are simplistic, clean and contemporary with a beach vibe. The bed was wonderful to sleep in, with really nice quality cotton sheets that kept us cool during the warmer nights. We loved the little roof top balcony, where we would listen to the sound of the waves, catch some rays and read our books with a glass of wine or two! Sesimbra itself is a lovely little costal village. The beach was clean and the sea chilly but lovely to swim in, a reprieve from the heat (we are Scottish so.....). We found two particularly great restaurants with meals that were delicious and so beautifully presented we almost didn't want to eat them! I did a few runs out to the light house in the mornings which was 5k and again perfect for those of you who like to start your day off in this way. We also loved the croissants bakery / cafe where we had croissants and the most lovely coffee each morning. It is a place to really unwind and relax, enjoy the ocean, the views and the sunsets. Next time and we will be back hopefully, it's paddle boarding! Thank you Caroline for a stay that will always be remembered fondly!

The view from the house is amazing! We spent hours looking out to sea both from the top deck and the swing-wide-open window in the kitchen, simply mesmerising in both sunshine and stormy times. Sesimbra feels like an authentic seaside village with a low-key vibe (in the off-season anyway), narrow cobbled streets, cute little shops, oodles of seafood-based cuisine options, friendly locals and a beautiful beach. We loved the stacked-up design of the apartment and its tasteful decor. It will be our pleasure to welcome Caroline and her family to our home in New Zealand.

Caroline's home is in a wonderful location in Sesimbra. There is reasonably priced parking in a parking garage about 5 mins walk away, and you can get to nearly anything in the city by walking. The home is one block away from a beautiful boardwalk, which is filled with people, so is convenient to the sea, and to great cafe's and bars. Immediately outside your front door is an incredible restaurant that served one of the best meals we had while there. Because this restaurant is so popular, it can get noisy outside the bedroom at night until they close, and then it's very quiet, and you can hear the waves. Inside the house, be prepared to carry your luggage up some very steep and narrow stairs, but once you get them there, you don't need to worry about this again until you leave! The home has been updated beautifully, with contemporary tiles and cabinetry. They've used their space well! On the third level is a beautiful open air patio, to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon beverages., and you can also bbq there. Looking out at the sea is mesmerizing and was the joy of our time there!

We had a wonderful week by the ocean. Caroline's apartment is spacious, comfortable and just simply beautiful! The view is incredible, I kept standing in front of the kitchen window! There are great restaurants and cafes within a short walking distance, and we could also buy a variety of delicacies at the nearby market. We traveled a lot. There are countless sights and attractions in the area. We loved Sesimbra, thank you Caroline!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this cozy beach apartment. The owners accepted our PLU globe in exchange for our stay here. The weather was perfect the entire time we were here. We walked the beach, visited the fort and relaxed! Although the kitchen was fully equipped, we ate out most meals as there was such a variety of restaurants in walking distance. The local grocery store was just around the corner too. Caroline was good with communicating with us and someone was there when we arrived to give us the key to the apartment. We would recommend this condo to anyone interested.

Caroline's house is a perfect hideaway in Sesimbra, being right in the centre of the pretry village and at the seaside and with their marvellous roof terrace overlooking the sea....The house is very pleasant and functional and clean and it even has a truly fabulous restaurant directly across the street :-) Our boys took some very good surfing lessons at the Sesimbra surf school, which ghey loved. The communication with Caroline was great and accurate and very smooth, like talking to someone you know very well. We would recommend an exchange with Caroline and her family to anyone!

We had an absolutely wonderfull time in Caroliens appartment in Sesimbra. We stayed there for a globe. The home is perfect for a family with two adults and two kids/teenagers. The ocean is litteraly around the corner and the view from the roof terrasse is absolutely stunning. Sesimbra is very charming . It has a great becah, nice restaurants, an ancient castle and a great indoor market for fresh fish and vegetables - and most tourists there seem to be from Portugal. Carolines home has the perfect location in the middle of this little vibrant town. It is located very centrally in Sesimbra and we loved listening to the waves combined with the pulse of Sesimbra through open windows at night. To sit at the roof terrasse sipping wine and watch the sun go down and people leaving the beach will be treasured memories. The appartment has everything you need to prepare meals at home and there are becahtowels, and some other practical things to bring to the beach, a great bbq and lots of room enjoy your stay inside or outside. It is very airy and tastefully decorated. Great coffee is only about 100 meters away. We really, really hope that we can come back one day.

We loved Caroline’s Sesimbra condo - imagine sitting at the large kitchen window with the windows wide open and watching and listening to the ocean every morning! Her place is clean and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay (including kids beach toys!). They are right across the street from the beach so if your family loves the ocean, this is the place for you! Caroline was so flexible with us, we had been in touch a month prior but she was happy to exchange with our dates at the very last minute. We loved the area so much that although we did rent a car to drive down to the Algarve, you wouldn’t need one as her place is walking distance to cafes, a small grocery store and 10 seconds away from the most delicious gelato! A truly special place that we will never forget. Thank you Caroline for your generosity.

We had the best stay in Caroline’s beautiful home. The house is only a few steps from the beach and in a very pretty traditional area of cobbled streets and tiled houses! The house is so well laid out and has everything you need. The sun trap roof terrace is the icing on the cake! We spent so much time there. The views are magnificent. Sesimbra is a little gem. There are lots of restaurants, an amazing beach and do much to do in the area. You don’t need a car in Sesimbra itself but it’s useful to explore the surrounding countryside and places of interest. There is a lot to see! If you ever have the chance to exchange with Caroline, don’t hesitate! We would love to go back again and hope it’s possible one day.
