General overview
our home is located in the outskirt of a small town. The property is 4000 m2 and is next to a forest with trails for walking and running. Both the house and the garden is very much suitable for families with children. In the garden we have a big trampoline and a playhouse, and near the forrest it is possible to play football and other games. There is also a nice area where you can enjoy a bonfire. We have a small red house where you will find equipment for fishing, cooking at the bonfire, biketrips and garden games.
In the workshop you can play billiard/pool and there you will also find our bikes, so you can exploire the area and lovely nature.
The space
When you enter the house from the backside there is a big terrace with a sitting area, and besides that a pergola with a dinning table. Inside our 213 m2 home you will downstair find the kitchen, dinning area, living room, office, master bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs is 3 bedrooms and room for relaxing and playing videogames.

Our cat Simba is very friendly and loves being cuddled. He comes and goes as he pleases, but is inside at night.

“We are very happy with the experience at Helle's house. The house itself is amazing, very comfortable, nice and spacious. All was impeccable clean, and the view of the garden from the living room is lovely. The house is well located near the supermarket and the others shops of the town. It's near the airport, Legoland, Legohouse and a lot of places to visit. We loved our holidays in Danmak, a great and interesting land, so careful with families and children. Helle and family are very attentive and they leave our home and car in perfect condition. Thanks a lot for the experience!!!! ”

“We had a lovely exchange with Helle and Carsten. They have a beautiful house in Sonde Omme in Jutland with a very large garden, backing onto forest and a huge trampoline that the children spent much of their time playing on. Their house was immaculate and well situated. We enjoyed runs and cycle rides in an organised route around the town and down to the local river. Legoland and Lalandia are close by to visit, the latter a great indoor waterpark with pools and flume rides for all ages. The unexpected gem was "Lego House", which has used all Lego's technology to allow children to explore their imagination. Our son loved it and we went twice! A local deep forest art project, the sandy Vejle beach and Kolding children's play park and castle were also enjoyed and so outings were varied with something for all ages. We had a great holiday and would thoroughly recommend. ”

“Hemos hecho este verano un intercambio con Helle, Carsten, Nicklas, Simon y Oliver y ha sido una experiencia perfecta. Desde el primer contacto, la comunicación ha sido muy facil y fluida, lo que ha facilitado mucho la preparación del viaje. La casa es maravillosa, con todo lo necesario para poder disfrutar de las vacaciones.Los niños han gozado muchísimo con el campo de futbol, la colchoneta, todos los juguetes, el jardín...y como no...con la conejita Sille!!! Estaba muy limpia y organizada y ellos dejaron la nuestra de la misma manera. Tambíen intercambiamos los coches y todo salió a la perfección. El pueblo, Sdr. Omme, es un pueblo pequeño pero tiene todos los servicios necesarios para el día a día. Está´muy bien ubicado para recorrer Jutlandia, ya que se encuentra en el centro de la península. Está muy cerca de Legoland y Lego House, visitas imprescindibles si vas con niños. Recomendamos este intercambio con Helle y su familia. Serán vuestras vacaciones perfectas!”

“This summer we\'ve enjoyed two great weeks of holiday in the wonderful house of Carsten and Helle. We and our boys loved to stay in such a spacious and cosy home that has everything you need and all you can wish. Many toys inside and also toys and a lot of things to play with in the beautiful, huge garden. You\'ll surely have a holiday feeling when staying in this house and village! We\'ve also enjoyed the very green and calm countryside of Denmark. The West Coast is beautiful and we\'ve visited some nice towns as well. The family is very kind and the contact went very well, all through email. Their house is super clean and tidy and when we came home we found our house in perfect condition! Thanks for everything! “We stayed two weeks in Sonder Omme, spent most of the time traveling around Denmark, visiting many places, including nearby sights as well as Arhus, Copenhagen, Legoland and the sea. We liked the house very much. Denmark is very different from our country and it was really interesting. This was our first exchange and it was a great experience for us. On the other hand, we are thankful to our exchange partners for their understanding: although according to the original plans they would have stayed only at our cottage, they came to our Budapest flat as well for a few days, because at the cottage there were some problems with electricity due to a storm. Our partners were very flexible about this which made it much easier for us. We also exchanged cars and it was all fine, too. We found both the apartment and the cottage neat and tidy when we arrived home. We recommend this family very much for exchanges.”

“We exchanged with Helle, Carsten and the boys in May to take our grandchildren to Legoland. Our daughter and son in law were there to relax, as were we the grandparents, whilst the children had the greatest of fun with all the toys in and outside of the house. The house was immaculately clean with everything neatly arranged (including the toys!!!) the house was very comfortable and relaxing in a great location to visit Legoland and other local attractions. Not far from the airport was also a bonus. Helle was a pleasure to deal with when arranging the exchange, even leaving 2 cars at the airport for our transfer back to Sonder Omme after our flight times got changed, meaning 6 of us arrived together from 2 different countries at the same time, which was not originally scheduled. We would love to see Helle, Carsten and the boys back in Spain sometime in the future to meet them. Thankyou all for a wonderful holiday.”

“We've had a wonderful exchange with Helle's family. How couldn't we recommend them for a swap? Their house is located nearly Billund's airport in a small village with everything you will need on holidays (supermarket, gas station). The house is clean, kids friendly and spacious. We loved the inside and the outside was nice with a pleasant garden offering many way to entertain the kids. We get such a nice weather that we ate almost every time on the terrace and went to the beach twice. Thanks to the car swap we could visit the Jutland considering a hour drive to big cities (Aarhus, Sondervig, Vejle, Kolding, Ringkobing…). We also went to Odense which is 1h30 drive from the house. Regarding their stay in our house with 3 boys, we could say the are responsible, very careful and eager to leave the house as they found it. We could not see they stay here. This was a perfect exchange with a very nice family. Thank you so much.”

“We spent a wonderful fortnight in Denmark at Helle and Carsten's house. 20 minutes from the airport (and Legoland and Lalandia!) - her parents even met us at the airport and showed us the way! The house was large and very well furnished and our children loved the massive garden, the Summer house, the "moon buggies" and the BBQ. We loved the fresh strawberries! The area was great for cycling, as was everywhere we went. We visited the East and West coasts of Jutland, the "lake district", the famous Givskud Zoo and Aarhus, Denmark's 2nd city. We still had a long list of things we wanted to do! This was our 5th house swap and our best to date. Highly recommended.”

Only 20 minutes from our home is Legoland, Legohouse, Wowpark and Lalandia. All fantastic turist attractions for families with children.
To the popular west coast of Denmark there is one hour drive, and besides that you can go fishing, playing golf/football golf or swimming in one of the child friendly lakes nearby. www.kvie-soe.dk, or visit one of the two safariparks that are located near her. www.givskudzoo.dk and www.jyllandsparkzoo.dk. In Ribe you will find a Viking Center www.ribevikingcenter.dk and in Bork there is Bork Vikingehavn www.levendehistorie.dk.Nearby is Deep forest art land. A forest with trails that will lead to a big variaty of art. www. deepforestartland.dk. In the cities Herning, Esbjerg, Vejle and Kolding there are good opportunities for for shopping and many fine restaurants. It will also be possible to visit Århus, Odense and Copenhagen on day trips.

We spent almost a week at Helles and her families big and modern house in Omme, very close to Legoland. The house was clean and we found everything we needed. It was nice to relax at the house after busy days in legoland and daytrips around the area. We all enjoyed the lovely garden with all the flowers and the big lawn to play around and ofcourse the social cat our kids loved. We walked to the supermarket, a cute café and took a walk at the trail around Omme. -
Just returned from a wonderful holiday at Helle and Carstens house. We have had a good communication before, during and after the exchange. We were lucky to meet Helle and Carstens at their house when we arrived. Such nice people, who gave us a big guide in their house and garden. The house and garden is very well kept and beautiful. The house is very clean and well organised. The big garden is very private and multiple options for fun and relax. There was also a lovely basket with nice treats for us. You will be needing a car when exchanging with Helle and Carsten, but the house is on a good location for Day trips, whether you want to go to big cities, ocean and Nature or amusement parks. We can highly recommend an exchange at Sdr Omme in this lovely house.
