Enjoy awesome mountain hiking and biking trails right outside the house. Three superb ski hills within 30 mins drive, and three excellent golf courses within 15 mins drive. 360-degree mountain views from the house.
1hr 20 mins to Calgary International Airport.
5 min drive to the Canmore Nordic center with world-class cross country skiing in the winter and mountain biking trails in the summer. Outdoor enthusiasts paradise.
The space
Open style living, dining, and kitchen area on the main floor.
Two bedrooms upstairs one queen and one double both with bathrooms.
A 3rd bedroom with a twin bed and bathroom on the lower floor. The third bedroom is quite small and would best suit a teenager.
Gas fireplace in the living area, large picture windows with mountain views. Three decks to enjoy sun and shade at all times of the day.
Firepit on the back deck.
This is our primary residence so we do have personal items around and about our home.

Parking for 2 vehicles at the back of the house. Key pad entry to the back door of the house.

Neighbourhood
Quiet friendly neighborhood with forest all around. 10 min walk through the woods to quarry lake a popular locals swimming spot with the beach. Multiple trails right outside the back door. Take your pick from a mountain hike up Ha Ling, Grassi Lakes, or all levels of mountain biking single track to paved trails.
About 30 mins walk to get to downtown Canmore, with all its shops, quaint boutique stores, and a wide range of culinary restaurants.
Getting to my home
Having a car is necessary, there is no rail system from Calgary. There is an airporter shuttle service, but once you get to Canmore, we are a quiet neighbour just outside the main downtown. So it would be a hard walk with suitcases to our house. There are taxis in town and a local bus service.
Nearest airport
Calgary International Airport (YYC) is an hour and fifteen minutes from our house, and easy highway drive.
Getting around
You will need a car to get about. There is a transit bus stop a short walk from the house, that goes downtown and also connects to the Banff Roam transit system.
