We live in a modest and practical apartment (60m2) in a co-living community, with a very bright and spacious living room. The sun shines in from noon until the evening and overlooks the large communal garden.

The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, with shops nearby, 10 minutes from the citycenter, by bike or public transport (bus stop in front of the door).

Two bedrooms can accommodate a (single-parent) family: the master bedroom with a very comfortable double bed and a nice children's room with lots of toys and a slide from the single bed! There is also a spare child's mattress, for a second child/toddler. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a second double bed.

On a small private balcony outside you can enjoy your evening tea in the evening sun.
Inside, the house has lots of color and warmth, with a South American/Bohemian interior style. There is an electric piano, which you can play without disturbing the neighbors, and the modest bathroom has a 1-person sitting bath to relax in.

The apartment is part of a co-living community in Haarlem, where there's communal areas like the garden, which we share with the 60 other persons living here. It's a kind, progressive and conscious way of living, which we love. Our apartment has its own bathroom, toilet, kitchen and bedrooms, so you won't have to share it with other people.

Neighbourhood

The apartment is located in Haarlem, the capital city of the province North-Holland, a very old and beautiful city. It's near Amsterdam, Schiphol airport and the beach. 

Haarlem is as beautiful as Amsterdam, but smaller and kinder ;) Situated near the dunes and the beach, it's a lovely city to enjoy nature and city-life. It has all the shops you need, historical city centre and great public transport options to all places in the Netherlands, by train or bus. Free parking just outside the house, great cycling network to Haarlem city centre (10 minutes bike ride), Amsterdam (45 minute bike ride) and the beach (30 minute bike ride). Parks and forests nearby, also fun for families with playgrounds and swimming ponds (in the dunes).

Getting to my home

Take the bus from Schiphol AirPort, 20 minutes drive to my apartment. By car 15 minutes away, free parking.
