General Overview

We moved into our beloved family home earlier this year, in search of a home that would be located in a spot that would promote us to live the active lifestyle we love for ourselves and our young children. Our home is perfectly located in the friendly neighbourhood of Lynmore, we are across the road from a park, playground and tennis club, and 300m walk from the world renowned Redwoods forest which boasts literally 100's of kms of Mountain Bike trails and walking/running tracks for all ages and stages. Our private home is a on a large, fully fenced section with a trampoline, kids playground and vegetable garden. We have large sunny private decks which are perfect for sipping a morning coffee on or cooking up an evening BBQ. We have one open plan living / dining / kitchen area with seperate adjoining laundry. We are a 4 bedroom/1 study home (which we have converted into a babies room). As both my husband and I work from home we have 2 designated work areas. We also have an externally accessible secure garage for storing any adventure gear you may travel with. Our home was built in the 1970's but fully renovated 10 years ago so is totally double glazed and fit with 3 x heat pumps. We also have additional heaters for the bedrooms if needed/desired for chilly evenings. We have kids toys / books / activities / bikes galore and have a friendly 'kid friendly' set up in all areas of the house.

Guest Access

Guests access is up the front steps of our home, however we do have a sloped lawn and side gate which you can access from also. We have plenty of room for off street parking in our driveway.

Neighbourhood

Lynmore is a super friendly and kid friendly suburb which attracts likeminded, active individuals who generally love riding or running in the Redwood Forest in their spare time, or exploring the beautiful surrounding lakes in the warmer months. We are on a good bus route to get into Rotorua City and have many different tourist attractions right on our doorstep. As well as many free trails around the greater city and lakes areas for ample exploring opportunities.

Getting to my home

It is best to drive to our home as public transport throughout NZ is not ideal. We are only 10mins drive from Rotorua Airport where rental cars are available. Alternatively you could catch an intercity bus to Rotorua City and bus to our home if you preferred.

Getting Around

There are basic shops within walking distance (dairy / fruit and vege shop / chemist butcher) but for a larger supermarket you will need to drive or bus. We are a few 100m's from a bus route which takes you into town.

Emily

We are a family of 4 who pre-kids loved international travel and are keen to get back into exploring more of our own backyard and the world through this amazing global community. We had our daughter (now 4 years old) in Canada and now also have a 15 month old son. We can't wait to get exploring as a family and allowing others to see and experience our magical part of the world, Rotorua, New Zealand.
