General overview
Our home is a 2023 custom built house with huge windows over an unobstructed view of the water and the mountains. We are open to hospitality exchanges (we host you in the house) and/or simultaneous/non-simultaneous exchanges.
The space
Our great patio has an ample flagstone terrace with breathtaking view of the Bay of Port Townsend (on the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the beginning of Puget Sound). In addition, enjoy great views of Mt Rainier, the Olympic mountains, the Cascade mountains, and Mt Baker. Watch the boats come and go, the eagles fly by, the deer come in for a visit… There is a 7-person hot tub (may be off during winter), gas barbecue, dining table, culinary herbs garden, various chairs and a hammock. Inside there is a great room with open living area around a gas fireplace, dining table for 6-8, and an ample chef’s kitchen with high efficiency appliances and walk-in pantry.
The main bedroom has an exit to the patio and view of the water, gas fireplace, and smart TV, with adjoining walk-in closet and huge bathroom with double sink, double head shower, and separate enclosed toilet.
If the timing is right and we are away, you can occupy the whole house. In a hospitality exchange we occupy the main bedroom and host you in the two guest bedrooms, sharing the rest of the common areas in the house.
If you want to get some work done, enjoy use of the study with fast internet, great views of the water, two monitors and a laser printer.
Hardwood floors and great natural light throughout. Solar panels generate almost all energy for the house, including a Level 2 fast EV charger.

Single floor house with no steps, wide doors.
