A large detached 4 bedroom home situated in the picturesque village of Spiddal (An Spidéal), a charming and popular coastal village located in County Galway, Ireland. Situated on the eastern shore of Galway Bay, Spiddal is known for its stunning natural beauty and traditional Irish culture.
The village offers picturesque views of Galway Bay and the nearby Aran Islands and plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, such as hiking and cycling with the nearby beaches providing great opportunities for swimming and water sports.
The village is a 10-minute walk away or a 2-minute drive from the property. There is a wonderful secluded beach a mere 5 minute stroll from the property.
The vibrant city of Galway is a 25-minute drive away.
The space
This home features a spacious open-plan layout with a large kitchen island, perfect for gatherings. The living and dining areas accommodate 8-10 people comfortably.
Downstairs includes a well-equipped utility room, a large fun playroom with Netflix and a Wii console, a king bedroom with ensuite, and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, there's a super king master with ensuite, two spacious bedrooms, a large family bathroom, and a storeroom. Stunning views of the Burren and Galway Bay complete the charm.
Outdoors
Cool down on hot summer days by relaxing in the outdoor above ground pool – large enough for 4 adults or 6 children. On a summers evening enjoy alfresco dining ( 2 Weber Barbeques available) or drinks in the spacious outdoor area , surrounding yourself in the peaceful and relaxing sounds of the country side.
Stay cosy on cool summer evenings with the outdoor firepit and large gas heating lamp.

Notes
We are a 5 minute walk to beautiful beach just at bottom of our road. The local playground is also a five minute walk with picnic benches.
July and August would be the most popular months to visit Ireland.

Getting to my home
Knock airport would be the closest (40minutes away) then Shannon Airport. Dublin Airport would be a 2 and half drive from our home.

Getting around
We have a hyundai i40 that can be used once insurance is sorted. There is also a good bus route in and out of the city. Our main village is only a 10minute walk.

We had the most wonderful time in Katie and Shaun’s home. The house is truly beautiful. So spacious and the views are incredible. You sit in the lounge and can see out to the sea over fields. The house has a wonderful play room that our children loved playing in. They also loved playing outside with the outdoor toys such as the go kart. We did a car swap and it worked so well. The surrounding area is gorgeous and the locals very friendly. This house has everything you could ever need. Katie and Shaun were so accommodating. It was such a privilege to stay in your wonderful home by the sea.
