General Overview

Before sending a request, please check the PLU calendar below, which I try to keep up to date. We are a member of a few swap sites, plus Air BnB, so the only reliable up to date calendar is Air BnB (can't insert the link here, so search "Maison Vue Provence Air BnB") Maison Vue Provence (@maisonvueprovence) is an ancient three-bedroom stone village house, exquisitely renovated with one of the most stunning views in Provence - complete with AC and a plunge pool. Perched on the side of the hill in the beautiful village of Bonnieux means that "wow" will be your response when you see the extraordinary panorama. A final cleaning and laundry fee of 180 euros is payable for Globe exchanges and is negotiable for reciprocal exchanges. Please note: we are based in Australia and so we need to employ a cleaner to ensure that our French house is presented to a high standard. This is the only way we can do exchanges from afar, so if you are offended by us asking for a cleaning fee, please do not ask to stay.

The Space

Three bedrooms (two king with ensuite; one queen with in-room vanity and access to a full bathroom on the ground floor). Living room and kitchen/dining room both open onto the three-level terrace, which features a large outdoor lounge area, a dipping pool and a dining table in our own turret! The property is bordered by the 12th century town remparts.

Guest Access

It is a village house, so no two rooms are on the same level and there are LOTS of stairs. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or with children who are not used to vertical living.

Notes

There is no parking at the house, though plenty of on-street parking within 50-100 metres. You will need a car to get the most out of your visit to the area.

Nearest airport

Marseille airport (MRS) is about 1.5 hours away by car. Avignon TGV station is the closest train station, which is about 1 hour away by car.

Getting Around

You will need a car to get the most out of your stay. However, our village has a wonderful little supermarket (at the bottom of our street), plus a baker, butcher, epicerie and about 10 cafes and restaurants. We also have a weekly Friday market.
