Our house is in a very quiet car-free street but just metres from the village centre. Introdacqua is a pretty village with shops, bars, post office, pharmacy and a good restaurant. With full central heating, a pellet burning stove and new double glazed windows, the house is warm in winter. In summer the house is cool as we are in the hills.

The Space

The kitchen was built in March 2023 so is brand new. The cosy living room is comfortable and relaxed.
There are two double bedrooms, one with a small en-suite bathroom. There are bathrooms on each floor, one with a bath and one with a shower.
Outside is a terrace overlooking the atmospheric ruins and caves!

Guest Access

The house is arranged over three floors but is accessed by a flight of stairs so is, unfortunately, not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Nearest airport

The nearest airport is Pescara, an hour away, with flights from London Stansted and other European destinations. Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino are two hours away by motorway, airport bus or train.

Getting Around

It may be possible to arrange for guests to use our car. Otherwise all the village amenities are very walkable - less than 500 metres. There is a local bus service to Sulmona and some of the villages nearby.
