General overview
Our home is over two floors, with two very good sized bedrooms, one of which also has desk space and we use as our office, but it also has a double bed.
We are in a very happening part of east London, our home is on a busy road but the excellent soundproofing of the windows mean it’s our quiet sanctuary and we love it here.
The space
The apartment benefits from a lot of natural light, which our (many) plants love. Both bedrooms, and our downstairs living spaces get great sunlight as you can see from our photos.
We also have a large balcony that somehow always feels much warmer than at street level - great for an evening glass of wine.
There is a king size bed in the master bedroom, and cot bed which can be moved to the second bedroom (where there is also a double bed) if required.
We have a projector which is great for watching movies, and we have streaming services you’re of course welcome to use.
We also had a console made for our turntables, and you’re welcome to have a spin of our records, if you’re interested (and extremely careful!) :)
Guest access
There is an elevator to get to the apartment which is on the third and fourth floor, however there are stairs to get to the top floor inside the apartment.

Neighbourhood
The location is fantastic: we are a few minutes walk from both London fields and Victoria park, and about 12 mins walk from Broadway Market.
There are LOTS of bars and restaurants in the local area, many of them very trendy and highly recommended.
Ella and I are both vegan, and can recommend options for plant based and non vegan options.
Getting to my home
The easiest way to get here via public transport would be via train to London Fields station which is a 7 minute walk, or Hackney Central which is a 14 min walk.
Nearest airport
Any of the London airports connect you, but we often find Gatwick or Stanstead the quickest.
Getting around
London Fields station is a seven minute walk, and takes you to Liverpool Street Station in 10 mins.
There are also numerous buses that are only a couple of minutes walk.

Oliver
My wife and I are both from the north of England, and met in London where we now live with our son who was born Dec 2023.
We both love to travel to new places to experience both the culture of new cities, and beauty of nature.
Our home is in a very vibrant part of East London, and we’d love to share what it has to offer with like minded people.
We have a dog, Margot who will likely be on her own holiday when we travel!
