Neighbourhood

Kansas City is in a boom! We are new here and we keep getting surprised with all this city has to offer. 2020 looks like another fun year to visit. https://www.visitkc.com/visitors/things-do/attractions/20-20-top-reasons-visit-kansas-city-2020 Our neighborhood is called Waldo. It is about 15 minutes drive south of downtown, and even closer to the main parks of the city. Waldo has some gems of its own- KC Bier Co, Waldo Pizza (a favorite throughout the city), Waldo Thai, Dodson's, Louise's Wine Bar, Bier Station, McClain's Bakery, and Betty Rae's Ice Cream! All of these are within a mile of our home.

Getting around

Some shops and restaurants are within walking distance (KC Bier Co!) but most of the city will require use of the bus or a car. The bus system is limited in KC, but we live fairly close to the Main line that goes right into downtown. Not sure about car sharing, but we are open to discussion.
