General overview
Our home is a spacious 4 bedroom chalet with a courtyard, separate TV room, large "American-style" kitchen, in-ground swimming pool, and trampoline. The home was fully renovated in 2022 and combines classic Spanish architecture with modern design. Our home can comfortably sleep up to 4 adults and 2 children (or 4 children if they don't mind sharing/using trundle beds).
For non-simultaneous exchanges with other pet owners, we kindly ask that you feed our well-behaved pets while we are away. Thank you.
The space
On the ground floor we have a spacious entryway that looks onto a large Andalusian style courtyard, complete with a dining table, 2 hammocks, and a working fountain. To the left is a cinema room, followed by the kitchen which adjoins the open-plan dining and living rooms. From the kitchen you can look out onto the pool. A half bath is conveniently situated off the kitchen near the pool entrance. Turning right from the entryway you come to the master suite, which includes a dressing room/office, bathroom with tub and separate walk in shower, and bedroom. There is also a door to the garage, where you will find the washing machine, a separate dryer, and many bikes (OK and also lots of boxes!).
Upstairs is a guest room with double bed and balcony, a full bathroom with double vanity, tub, and separate shower, and 2 children's bedrooms. Each child's bedroom has a single bed with an additional trundle bed. There is also a small rooftop deck.
Guest access
This is a 2-story home; there are also outside stairs to enter the house.
Notes
- Please be aware that the swimming pool is deep and not gated off. It is very important that children who cannot swim wear life jackets and are ALWAYS supervised when outside.
- There is a large staircase without a baby gate
- We have a wire-haired dog named Daisy who requires food daily, and a cockatiel named Socrates who needs a food top-up just once every few days
- We have remodeled the interior of the home, however the garden is still a work in progress. :) At the moment the garden consists of an in-ground swimming pool, trampoline, small orchard with fruit trees (lemon, fig, pear, and orange), tiled area with basketball hoop...but mostly lots of rocks! Next year we hope to put in grass and other plants, but for now the garden is not much to look at.

Neighbourhood
La Eliana has all of the character of a Spanish Pueblo plus some of the best shopping and restaurants in the area. Our home is located just 2 blocks from town, allowing you to easily walk to:
- The metro (train) into Valencia
- Numerous coffee shops and bakeries
- A variety of restaurants including sushi/Japanese, Indian, Chinese, Italian, Lebanese, hamburgers, pizza, and of course Spanish
- A beautiful local park with its duck pond, aviary, and playground
- Multiple grocery stores, clothing boutiques, and services
There are also excellent hiking and cycling trails nearby!
Getting to my home
Our home is accessible by car (parking is available), or it is a 7 minute walk from the Metro. We also have several bicycles, including 4 adult bikes, 3 children's bikes (ages 7-12), and 2 toddler seats that we are happy to lend.
Nearest airport
Valencia Airport (VLC) is a 20 minute drive from our home.
Getting around
Easily walk into the town of La Eliana or to the Metro (train) which goes into Valencia. If you wish to drive or take a cab you can be in Valencia in ~20 minutes and at the beach in less than 30 minutes.
