We spent two weeks in Bad Ischl and had a perfect stay. The apartment is very nice, clean and cosy, and it has everything you could need. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfy, and the living room has luxurious chairs and a comfortable sofa bed, which our friends slept very well on. There are also lots of games and a smart TV for a cosy night in. We really felt at home.
Communication with Margaret was very easy and smooth. We received a warm welcome, with soup and other local products waiting for us, which was a really thoughtful touch. Margaret and Andy were very welcoming and shared lots of useful information and tips about the area, which we really appreciated. They also made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
The town of Bad Ischl is beautiful and easy to reach on foot. There are some nice cafés and restaurants with great local food. The area is great for exploring and going to one of the many nearby lakes gives you amazing views. We visited in winter and were lucky enough to have fresh snow, so we went skiing on most days. The ski area is about a half-hour drive away and the drive itself is really beautiful. We can imagine that spending time here in summer would be beautiful as well and great for hiking.
The comfortable, cosy apartment and this beautiful area of Austria made it a perfect holiday. We would happily stay here again. Thank you Margaret and Andy!
