General overview
We live in a 7000 square foot villa on a beach in sunny Muscat, Oman. Our house is a very unique one in that we have a library inside! When we're in town, we open to the public...with 10,500 books! It also has a beach view from 2 bedrooms, a rooftop terrace that overlooks mountains and sea, and a pizza oven :).
The space
Garden with seating + a playground, cute lights + reading area leads into our large living room + library in the hall. Dining is on the other side of living room + the kitchen has our playroom inside it with no small toys (perfect for small ones)! There is also a room for our live in maid + a bathroom on ground floor.
Upstairs we have a lego room with a sea view, a boys room with seaview and 4 beds, a huge game area + 200 board games, a soft carpet TV watching zone + a guest room + master -- both en suite.
Third floor is a complete sea view office with pull out couch and en suite bath, washing machine + HUGE trampoline! It's also our roof terrace with mountain and sea views, a fire pit, seating, pizza oven and a telescope for use.
Oh we also have one more seating area outside, down in the side of our home..can send pics if requested.
Oman is very very very safe and peaceful. You should research it! It's one of the safest countries on the planet, and it's an undiscovered gem.
Guest access
3 floors :). Ground floor has 5-6 stairs to porch.
Notes
Just want to ensure we will close down the library and all appointments when people stay, that's easy to do. You can just relax!
Also -- I am not sure the best way to do this yet, but we are open to hosting while we're still here. It's SO MUCH HOUSE...if you're open to it, we are.
We are interested in 2 weeks at Christmas, a week in March + 2 months in summer. But also if you want to do a weekend throughout the year and we plan, just about any weekend is doable for us. I recommend making Oman part of a UAE bounce-off so you can see both countries in one go.

Neighbourhood
Ice cream shop, food trucks, a huge beach! A playground, nice people, a car wash, 20 seconds walk to a store with all the food you'd want and some small restaurants...a second playground, and down the beach, Oman's priciest hotel, the Chedi.
Getting to my home
We are a 10 minute drive from the Muscat Airport. We recommend a taxi or even the national app: OTAXI (like our uber) for getting to our place.

I can answer questions before you arrive and if you need anything when here, I'm on speed dial. You can also drop by our library for some banana bread and book borrowing if you aren't staying at the Olson library.
