Our three bedroom semi-detached Edwardian house in quiet road close to the centre of the village. Leafy village close to many amenitites Edwardian semi detached house and pretty garden Excitment of London and peace of the countryside

The space

he house has retains many of its original features and has a lounge with 2 sofas and armchair, fireplace, TV, DVD player and PS4, dining room and kitchen with french doors opening into garden. There is two double bedroom and one single bedrooms, and a family bathroom. We have a patio with table and chairs and garden together with off road parking. There is access to wifi, and computer and a good selection of CDs, DVDs, books and games. We make the house comfortable and welcoming for our visitors.

Neighbourhood

Our house is located in quiet leafy village, with friendly neighbors. It is a great local area with many good shops & restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. We have a local park 5 minutes away with a tennis court, football pitch, basketball and a good children playground. The house is also close to green fields and local countryside and typical English villages. We can provide maps and guides on local walks and bike rides. There are 4 bikes are available for local exploration.

Getting around

car is not necessary, but off street parking is available if required. It is a five minute walk to the train station and 30 minutes on the train to central London.. St Pauls, Camden Market or 40 minutes to the West End and all the shops and theaters. The historic town of St Albans is only 15 minute drive or 5 minutes on the train - it has a great outdoor market on Saturday and Wednesday. Harry Potter Warner Brothers Studio is only 15 minutes away It is possible to do a day visit to the beach at Brighton by train 1 1/2 hours There is a local Leisure Centre with a swimming pool 10 minutes drive. Indoor caving / activity centre 20 minutes. Indoor ski centre 20 minutes. Many local golf courses. We are 5 mins by car to the M25 and M1... easy access to the rest of England
