Hospitality Description: For hospitality, we have a small bedroom in the basement (near the children's play area - sorry!) with a double bed. It has its own private bathroom with shower.

Neighbourhood
We love our neighborhood and our neighbors! Kids gather at the park in the winter to play ice hockey. In the summer, kids are biking, inline skating, and even organized a neighborhood soccer team. We have over forty kids under the age of thirteen living in this small neighborhood and you can always spot some outside playing.
Downtown Wayzata is a short 10-20 minute walk from our house. There you can find local restaurants (CōV, McCormick's, and Punch Pizza are a few of our favorites). In downtown Wayzata, you are at Lake Minnetonka and lots of fun water activities like stand up paddle boarding, boating, kayaking, sailing... Lake Minnetonka is one of the largest lakes in Minnesota, made up of 37 different bays! It is known for having some of the most exclusive, expensive homes in Minnesota. People sometimes do boat tours to simply admire the many beautiful (and large) homes along the lakeshore.
Nearest airport
Fly into Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) and drive or take a taxi/Lyft/Uber 30-45 minutes to our home in Wayzata.
Getting around
You can walk or bike into downtown Wayzata, but for the most part, we drive.

"Would love to spend a week or two in the French countryside. My children spend some time learning French each year and we'd love to get the chance to be immersed. (Unfortunately, I speak no French... yet!) Loved our time in French-speaking Switzerland."
