Neighbourhood

Our house is in a nice and quiet estate. 5 minutes walk to Deerpark forest, this a beautiful area to go for walks and Lough Ramor Lake is also within walking distance and has a lovely lakeside promenade. The small town is 15 minutes walk and has restaurants and pubs to eat in, take away food places and bars with pool table and weekend live music entertainment. Getting to my home

There is a bus from Dublin airport that takes 1 hour to reach Virginia (without traffic) and from there it is a 1.5km walk to my house. (Expressway bus 30x) Car hire is also an option from the airport.

Getting around

The town is 15 minutes walk away and the forest and lake can be explored on foot. There are buses that leave from the town into Dublin City centre and also to Cavan, Donegal plus more. Carhire would be a benefit to explore more of the smaller towns and nature though (if someone is used to driving manual (stick) and has driven on the left side before without problems then I would be open to a car swap - insurance would have to be purchased extra)

We are a family of 4. Our children are age 10 and 5. We love exploring the world and being outdoors. We are new to exchanging and excited to get started. I am unfortunately stuck to school holidays and for late2024/2025 my husband could be changing jobs so we would rather accept a globe for the dates in my calendar for 2024 (we already have our Easter and summer plans made) and in 2025 when we know about work, I would love to organise a sim/non sim swap I’m a bit of a clean freak so your house will be in good hands 🙌 we will treat your home with care and respect.
