Hospitality Description: Basically I'm open to discuss whatever is feasable for both.
For hospitality inquiries I prefer them to be not more than a week or two in advance since I often don't know my plans very longterm.

Neighbourhood
It's a safe and for Istanbul standards very quiet neighborhood, yet has easy access to public transport. 5min walk to the next metro station and bus stops.
It's located on top of a hill just below the 1st bridge across the Bosporus, which you can see from my window if you lean out a bit :)
The neighborhood is called Üsküdar, one of the most historical areas of Istanbul which often gets overlooked. To me it's a real gem with it's historical mosques and coffee houses, the side alley, the oldest hamam in town and a beautiful park that starts 3min up from my house and extends all the way down to the Bosporus. Such a large green area is a rare find in Istanbul.
Down the street is Kuzguncuk, a small area where Christian and Jewish merchants used to settle in the Ottoman times. Now it shines with some old churches and synagoes, colorful wooden houses, small DIY gardens where people plant veggies and fruit trees and lots of nice little cafes.
Nearest airport
Sabiha Gökcen app 30min by taxi when no traffic or 1h 15min by metro
Istanbul airport (the new one): app 45min by taxi (when no traffic) or 1:35hrs by public transport
Getting around
there are 3 supermarkets in the vicinty, bakeries and a weekly bazar for fruits and vegetables very close by. For more shops and a shopping mall you can take one stop by metro to Üsküdar or Baglarbasi.
The popular area of Kadiköy with its nightlife is connected by a direct bus in app 30min.
To Taksim on the European side it takes app 45min by metro or metro and ferry.
Getting back at night is also quite easy and safe, even without taxi.
At night there are shared minibusses that run from Kadiköy and Taksim to a place from where you can walk home in 15-20min (very safe)
