Neighbourhood

We're in an incredibly diverse and walkable neighborhood with great pizza, Colombian, Mexican, Thai, and just about any other kind of food you could want within a couple of blocks. Supermarkets, pharmacies, and a huge park are also within a 5 minute walk. We live in Jersey City Heights, which is an incredibly diverse and vibrant neighborhood. Some of our favorite parts about the Heights include: - Riverview Park and the Sunday farmer's market - check out the garden and kids will love the "mud kitchen" where they can make a mess! - Bread and Salt - get a bombolone, you won't regret it! - Corto - amazing Italian food in a lovely atmosphere, make a reservation online in advance - Pershing Field park - good playground and good spot for a shady walk - Los Tres Chilitos/ Sabor a Veracruz - our favorite Mexican places - Griot Cafe - Great coffee and unique eats - Prato - Great coffee, sandwiches, and other Tuscan treats - El Gordo - Amazing Peruvian food

Getting Around

Everything you need is very walkable and available within five minutes walking from our home. Grocery stores, banks, parks, and any kind of restaurant you can imagine. ~ 25 minutes to Port Authority via the 119 or 123 buses ~ 20-25 minutes walking to Hoboken or downtown Jersey City
