Neighbourhood

It's a quick walk down the hill to the center of Coimbra, only 1 km away. 

There are lot of historical sites nearby: Covento de São Francisco, Igreja da Santa Cruz, Portugal Dos Pequenitos, University of Coimbra, Parque Verde, etc. 

Also nearby are a wide selection of restaurants and cafés, along with a riverfront which hosts a lot of activities in the summer (kayaks, SUP, boats, etc). We are directly nearby a mini golf and driving range. 

There are a couple of supermarkets (Aldi and Lidl) and  pharmacies within walking distance.

Nearest airport

OPO (Porto) is 75 mins away.  There are direct bus lines and train from both Porto and Lisboa.  In addition, there are flixbus & redexpresso  buslines that run directly from Porto Airport and Lisbon airport to Coimbra.  Lisboa airport is 2 hour away.  You can also take a flixbus from Madrid International airport to Coimbra.  The bus runs overnight (daily), leaving Madrid airport at 11p, arriving in Coimbra at 4:45a.

Getting Around

The entire town of Coimbra and Santa Cruz is within walking distance. There are micro-mobility providers like Bolt and Lime scooters to get around.  Biking and walking around town is efficient and easy.
