Our house has all the amenities. Two master bedrooms one on the main floor and the other upstairs. Media room that can also be used as a bedroom, however there is only a couch. Side yard with enough room for people and fur babies and a lovely front sitting deck to watch the sun set.
The space
Our home is small. It offers an open spaced living, dining and kitchen area which opens to a side fenced in yard. Primary bedroom on the main floor has a king sized bed, with ensuite with jacuzzi tub and shower and walk in closet. For long term stays, closet and bathroom drawers would be made more available. Upstairs bedroom has queen bed and is also ensuite with walk in shower. Closet upstairs is not walk in. On the main level upon entry from garage is a half bath. There is also a small laundry area as well. Parking is in the rear of the home off the alley. The home has an apartment built above the garage and is rented long term, separately. The renters designated parking space is just in front of the stairs going up. Parking for PLU's will be directly behind the garage. For longer term stays (over 1 month) there would be in garage parking.
Guest access
There are two floors with access from the back with no stairs, or access from the front with stairs leading up from the street.
Notes
Our tenants are very quiet and very respectful. While we travel, we have family members in contact with them in the case of them needing anything. We just ask that the PLU do not park in the space in front of their stairs.
You will also have local contact numbers for any questions or issues that could possibly come up.

Neighbourhood
Our Hidden Hills neighbourhood has a walking bridge to the new Alpenglow Park. Beautiful park for picnics, walking, biking, and pet off leash areas. This is a very friendly neighbourhood and quiet.
Getting to my home
Fly direct to Bend/Redmond airport and Bend is approximately 20 minutes south of the airport. Uber, Lyft or taxi's are available.
Other option is fly into Portland and there is a bus transport direct from PDX to Bend roundtrip, which has options for times.

Getting around
We are open to car exchanges. However, if that is not available then a rental car would be advised. While staying here, we do offer our ebikes for use. They are both type 2 ebikes with throttles.

My husband Tom and I are just getting into the early stages of retirement! We love to travel and we love to go places where we can bring our two adorable French Bulldogs, Blanche and Roland! We have two adult daughters, Emily and Sarah.
We have a home in Bend, Oregon. Bend is a really cool city. It is located in Central Oregon and offers many different things to do. In the winter months Mt. Bachelor ski resort is 30 minutes from town and there is lots of snow shoeing, cross country skiing, sledding, and the list goes on! Spring, Summer and Fall there is a bounty of activities! Hiking, golf, fishing, biking, boating, kayaking and floating the Deschutes River! Year round there are weekend festivals and concerts. Summer concerts are out of this world!
