Our home is in a peaceful village. You’ll find a village shop, and a traditional pub nearby. Northallerton is only a 10-minute drive away and offers a variety of shops, cafés, restaurants, and markets, including a monthly farmers’ market. The area is perfect for countryside walks, cycling, and exploring the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales. There’s easy access to the A1M and A19, and Northallerton station provides regular trains to London, Leeds, York, and Edinburgh. If flying, Leeds Bradford Airport is the closest, about an hour’s drive from the village.

Getting Around

You’ll need a car to explore beyond the village, including trips to Northallerton, the Yorkshire Dales, or the North York Moors. There’s parking for multiple cars at the house on the driveway. If available we would be open to allowing guests to use our car if they purchase appropriate car insurance cover. If you don’t have a car, you can use a taxi to reach Northallerton train station, which has regular services to Leeds, York, London, and Edinburgh. The village itself is easy to explore on foot, with a small shop, a pub, and lovely countryside walks nearby.

Haylie

We’re Haylie and Alex, a travel-loving couple with two dogs, Nala and Kovu. We love UK getaways with our pups and trips abroad with family or friends. Making memories, exploring new places, and trying new things are what we’re all about! Since we run our own business, we can usually be flexible with our plans if we have a little notice.
