Neighbourhood
In the Haliburton Highlands a cottage area. A 45 min drive to Algonquin Park.
Hiking trails nearby and Portage trails and good fishing. In the fall there are Art studio tours. Here is a you tube link of my cottage and the neighbourhood taken by a person who stayed at my property.

I had the sincere pleasure of hosting Anne-Marie recently at my home for a hospitality stay. Anne-Marie is an extremely nice lady and her company was most enjoyable. She is outgoing, interesting, helpful, clean, respectful and keen to talk all things "Travel." And she even brought her own travel sleeping gear so as not to soil my bedding! We enjoyed several pleasant days seeing some of the sights. Should you ever have the opportunity to host or have Anne-Marie mind your house while you are away, I would definitely recommend her! -
Anne Marie was the perfect guest especially for our cat Pierre. On a short notice she was interested to come to Paris from Canada to cat sitting our 1 year old cat. it happened very smooth and Pierre and Anne Marie became best friends. The communication with her was very easy and fluid. She took care of our house which was in same condition as we left it. I can only advice her for any exchange or hospitality for cat sitting Thanks again Anne Marie -
Anne-Marie was a perfect guest in our home. She communicated well beforehand, and had a great time exploring the area while at our house. She was always positive and was able to help when the plumber attended to deal with a leak. Anne-Marie kept our house beautifully tidy and looked after it like it was her own. She asked if a friend could come and stay and at all times was considerate and a delight. At the end of her stay she clearly told me of of the keys location and made sure she followed the process to shut down our flat. I would highly recommend her to stay in your house - and I hope that like me, you will make a new friend in the process.
