In our kitchen we have a relaxing build in sofa.

There are plenty of herbs for you to use in your cooking - parsley, basel, rosemary, oregano and red forest acids are some of the herbs we have.
The upstairs is our loungsroom. We have a great stereo and speakers to enjoy music. The view of the lake is quite good from up there :-)
We have 8 windows in the ceiling in our house. This gives very much daylight to our house.
We have a large flatscreen where you of course can watch Danish television, but also Netflix and HBO Nordic. We also have apple TV, so you can cast your favorite onto the screen.

This is our masterbedroom, beside this bedroom, we have 3 other bedroom - you can sleep 7 total in our house.
This is our morning terrace where we love to have our morning coffee and enjoy the garden which has many lavender - and gives a lovely scent.
Here we often dine if its chilli during the spring or autum. We have a woodburner in the house - from here you can get the wood.

We often eat outside during the summer. We have a large bbq at the terrace.

We have lots of LEGO for your kids to play with. An electric train that is so long it goes from the livingroom to the kitchen,
In our workshop we also have workout equipment: A spinning bike, rowing machine and some weights. You can cast your favorite show on the tv screen while exercising because there is a screencast connected to it.
In the garage we can set up the ping pong table - if you are interested. It's great fun to have a tournament in the family.
Are you into biking? We have 3 mountain bikes, 1 city bike and 2 race bikes - that you may use of course.
In Århus, the second largest city in Denmark, there is a great museum called AROS. The architecture is beautiful and on top of the museum you can walk in the RAINBOW.
Our beaches to the west coast of Denmark are really fantastic, because they are unspoilt (no hotels and restaurants at the beach) and the nature is wild.

Svinkløv is one of our favorite spots to go for a day the beach during the summer. Here there is an old beach hotel right at the beach - the atmospere is superb. This is the only hotel at the beach - if you want to go there, remember to book a lunch/dinner in advance.
This picture is taken one evening were we where driving along one of the beaches at the west coast by the North Sea. We have a trailer for 3 bikes so we can bring our bikes when we want to go mountainbiking.
The beaches at the west coast are unspoilt with beautiful dunes and no hotels built on them - only beautiful white sand and great waves.

This is a great spot just 3 min walk from our house. You can make your own fire and bbq right at the lake. We often go for a walk around the lake.
There is also a shelter where you can bring your/our sleepingbags and sleep in the open.

If you like to bring home some creative ceramics, we know just the right place to go. In the latin quarter in Århus there is a cafe where you can buy unfinished ceramics and paint it the way you like. They burn it and you pick it up afterwards - a sovenir for life:-)
This is Dollerup Bakker (Dollerup Hills) In Danish conditions it is very steep and hilly :-) This is one of our favorite spots to go for an outings, picnic or hiking.

In Dollerup Hills there are many beautiful picnic spots.
Also Dollerup - we love this place.
Also in Dollerup there are old ruins called The ruins of Hald.
Dollerup - we also sometimes bring our mountainbikes for rides through the forest.

10 min in car from our house: Sønæs it situated in connection with the lakes of Viborg. This is a recreational spot for picnic and fun with your kids...

Viborg is surronded by two lakes. We often bike to Viborg and around the lakes - we sometimes bring a picnic and chill out at one of the many picnic places with benches and table around the lake.
10 min in car is Viborg. Viborg is a very old city, with narrow streets, pedestrians streets small shops and old buildings. This is the cathedral of Viborg.
Aprox. 20 min drive from our house is Mønsted Kalkminer - Mønsted Limestone mines. A great place for an excursion - it's mentioned in the homebook.

Hjarkbæk fjord is another great and conveniet outing. There is a very great restaurant there which we love going to - we have also mentioned it in our homebook.
Aprox. an hour's drive from Viborg there's Legoland. A don't miss if you have small chrildren.
10 min drive from our home you can see the troll Elle made by the world famous sculptor Thomas Dambo. This is #116. There are several of them in our neighborhood cites.
