General overview

Safe and quiet neighborhood. Most of the young couples move in this area, nice cafes, and restaurants, great public transport. City attractions are just a few minutes away.

The space

2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, as it is our primary home, we take good care of it. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and the second bedroom has a smaller bed but also comfortable for 2 people . There is an option to sleep on the sofa as well.

Guest access

1 st floor but there is a flight of stairs to take

Notes

Long exchange We are looking for a long term exchange in the distant future. We have been discussing this for a while and we decided to like start preparing. We would like to do that sometime around the end of 2021 and we would like to do at least a 3 months exchange. Everything is very flexible at this point. Our preferences are: At least 2 bedrooms would prefer a car exchange as well Warm climate would be great Sea or a large body of water in the near distance Note: we will have a little kid at that time. What will YOU do in Hungary for 3 months? Exploring Hungary will take you a month we can set you up with a lot of activities. Travel Europe, low-cost airlines allow you to fly anywhere in Europe for about 100 EUR return. OR drive to Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia all of them are 2-3 hour trips! Medical treatments, Hungary has great private medical treatments for foreigners. Many many companies offer treatments like dental, rheumatology, etc. Frequent our amazing healing baths. Enjoy the culinary scene of Budapest. Dine in a different amazing award-winning restaurant two times a week and you will not finish my list!

Member description
The building has a classic environment, it has been built in 1910 and severely damaged in the wars, renovated after WWII. Next to the apartment is a small closed yard, so we don't have a view but there are trees in front of the windows. Very quiet area ( you can literally sleep with the windows open), but only 15 minutes walk from the main attractions. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby. The best spot for visiting the city. The subway is 2 minutes from the door and the main tram 4-6 is also about 4 minutes. The airport is about 50 mins by public transport which is 2 EUR or you can take a cab for about 25 EUR. We have a Nissan Xtrail, that can be part of the exchange. In general, you don't need a car in Budapest, but if you want to take short trips you might. If you arrive by car, we have a rented garage space in the shopping center nearby, about 5 minutes' walk from the apartment. It is safe and closed for the night with a guard. We are a married couple in our twenties. During the week we work hard to be able to travel as much as we can. Jessica works in the real estate industry as an expert for one of the largest investment firms in the region. Mate runs his own companies installing solar panels and producing raw cosmetic raw materials We enjoy nice meals and great views, trying to learn about foreign cultures. We like skiing and motorbike tours, and sailing.
