General overview
Our beautiful home is nestled in a wide leafy street backing onto one of the largest parks in Northcote with easy access to playground, shops, public transport and even a small lake. We recently renovated our bathroom and kitchen.
The space
Our home has three bedrooms and one bathroom (with shower and bath). One queen size bed in the main bedroom, one double futon coach/bed conversion in the other plus desk / study and one king single in the final (kids) room with additional pull out trundle for additional child if needed. An open plan kitchen and lounge with back yard and cubby with slide. Automatic roller garage door out to park directly opposite back of house. We do have a dog who we do not travel with. If you are dog people and would love a furry companion for your trip then we are happy to leave her with you but also totally fine to leave her at her Granny's place. Important to note though that a dog does live in the house when we are there, if you or your family have an allergies. We always give the house a thorough clean before swaps but if you have strong allergies to dogs it may not suit you.

3 small steps inside main house - otherwise all on one level. Dual access as we have dual street frontage.
Notes
We have ducted heating for winter and the house has been freshly insulated to combat the cold winter mornings! We also have evaporative cooling which works great in summer and reverse cycle heating in cooling in the main lounge as a supplement to your preferred internal temperature requirements.

Neighbourhood
Sort after and awesome area. You have the big park right at your back door (LITERALLY) - you open the back gate and the park is THERE! but with a short 5 minute walk you are at the shops. Coles, Aldi, meat, fish - at Northcote Plaza across the park and then another 2-3 minute walk to 'happenin' High street with restaurants, bars and trams/trains. This area has it ALL! You also have easy access to the city centre via tram or train and it takes approximately 30 minutes travel time from door to door. Very safe and family friendly area. Our neighbours are the best!
Getting around
We have street parking out front and an undercover garage out back with automatic garage door. Public transport is easy with tram, train and bus within easy walking distance.
