Getting around

Bus stop to train station 4 minutes walk. From there you can easily go to Amsterdam, Leiden or Schiphol Shopping street with all daily necessities within a 2-minute walk. The center of Haarlem can be reached by bike in 6 minutes, but can also be reached by bus. A larger shopping street (Binnenweg, Heemstede) is also a 5-minute bike ride away.

We are a retired couple and have lived in this house for 35 years. The garden is a great passion. In the summer, the garden needs to be watered every day. In a house exchange, we are happy to take care of your garden, and ask you to water our potted plants. We've been swapping for 10 years and think it's a fantastic formula.
