Our apartment is very large by Parisian standards (175 m²). Typically Parisian historical elements (Haussmannian). Three large bedrooms will be accessible for you, a fourth will probably be used as storage space. 2 bathrooms, separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchen, very large living room/plunge.

We can lend you our scooters, as well as arrange a cleaning service and/or an English-speaking babysitting on request.

Typically Parisian / Haussmannian, our apartment is very pleasant to live in and offers an exceptional space in Paris (175 m2). It is ideally located for visiting the city while offering several places to relax in the immediate vicinity. 

Our apartment is bright, located in a magnificent Haussmannian building near the Canal Saint-Martin. Three large bedrooms will be accessible; A fourth bedroom will not be accessible during your stay as we will store your personal belongings there 
IMPORTANT: NO OTHER GUESTS THAN THOSE AGREED, NO PARTIES OR LARGE GATHERINGS IN THE APARTMENT, despite its size. Please let us know from the start who will come to the apartment. 

LOCATION 
The metro (4 lines) is just a stone's throw away and offers easy access to all of Paris. There is a long bike path in front of our apartment, which makes it very easy and safe to cycle from home (Paris is now very bike-friendly).

The Space

Unless otherwise agreed, you can use 3 bedrooms (the master bedroom has a king size bed), a very large living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, another with shower, and 2 toilets. There is wi-fi, Full HD TV, washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, Instant Pot, air fryer, Thermomix, piano, etc. The apartment offers a variety of CDs, DVDs and books for all ages, available in English and French. A fourth bedroom will be used as storage.  We also have a variety of toys, board games and more. This is our main residence, so the closets won't be empty, but of course we can make room for you, which also means you'll find everything you need in the apartment!

Unless otherwise specified, you will have 3 large bedrooms (one of which has a king size bed), a large living room, a kitchen with separate dining area, 1 bathroom with bathtub, 1 bathroom with shower, 2 fitting rooms and 2 toilets + flat screen TV, DVD, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, Thermomix equivalent,  Instant Pot, piano, etc. Lots of toys, board games, cot on request, etc. Scooters. 
This apartment is our main residence, so the closets are not empty. However, we can make room for you, and you will find everything you need.

Neighbourhood

You will enjoy all the excitement and culture of Paris, in a familiar, green and relaxing neighborhood. The iconic Canal St Martin and Bassin de la Villette, just around the corner, are mostly pedestrianised, trendy and very family-friendly, with a lovely promenade along the water, plenty of playgrounds (outdoor and indoor) and plenty of parks around. 
During the summer, Paris-Plages offers many activities for all ages – as well as a free outdoor swimming pool. We can lend you bike helmets and renting a bike is very simple and nice (great bike path right in front of the apartment). Paris is now very welcoming for cyclists!

The Canal Saint-Martin and the Bassin de la Villette (superb walk, mainly pedestrian), the large number of activities in the immediate vicinity and the two very large parks nearby (very different): Buttes-Chaumont (for romance) and La Villette (for the countless activities). And in summer, swimming is allowed and supervised in the open air on the pool (3 pools), as well as on all the Parisian beaches. We can lend you bicycles, helmets and baby/child seats. It's now extremely pleasant to cycle in Paris.

Getting to my home

2 main train stations within a 10-minute walk (Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord): convenient, hassle-free.

Nearest airport

Accès facile aux deux aéroports de Paris. Starting in 2027, the CDG Express train will connect Gare de l'Est to/from Roissy Airport in 20 minutes: you'll be here in just 35 minutes!

Getting Around

This location combines very good accessibility (4 lines around the corner: the Louvre, which is mainly in the center of Paris, only 15 minutes by metro or bike, the Galeries Lafayette 5 minutes, Châtelet 15 minutes, Montmartre 10 minutes, Gare du Nord 5 minutes) with a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere,  at the water's edge or in the adjacent parks (Buttes-Chaumont and La Villette). Several metro and bus stations within a 3 minute walk, 2 major train stations within a 10 minute walk.
