General Overview

We absolutely love our home — and we think you will too 🌟 It’s bright, spacious, and has beautiful views 🌇, all in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with fantastic transport connections. In just 15–20 minutes, you can be in the heart of Vienna: sipping coffee in a historic café, walking in Freud’s footsteps 🧠, or starting a scenic hike in the hills. Vienna is an amazing city to explore — whether you’re into architecture, culture, food, nature, or shopping. It’s also incredibly welcoming for families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, with countless parks, museums, and playgrounds. As parents, we’ve been thrilled by how many things there are to do with kids here (and how easy it is to get around — even with a stroller). Our apartment is on the 6th floor of a modern building with an elevator. From the balcony, you look out over a green park with several playgrounds and open spaces — ideal for relaxing or playtime. More parks and child-friendly places are just a short walk away. The famous Schönbrunn Palace and Zoo 🐘 are 20 minutes by tram, and a lovely public pool is only 15 minutes away.

The Space

Our apartment has three rooms: – A cozy bedroom with a comfortable bed – A cheerful kids’ room full of books and toys 📚🧸 – A spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen — including a comfy couch, a large wall desk (great for working from home), and a big screen connected to a Playstation for Netflix, YouTube & more 🎮🍿 The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower above it, and the toilet is separate — convenient for families or guests. 🌿 One of our favorite features is the large private balcony, which becomes the highlight of summer — but we enjoy it in every season (see the photos!). Just one floor up, you’ll also find a shared rooftop terrace with gorgeous views over the city — perfect for sunset drinks or a quiet moment with a book.

Notes

We’re quite flexible with our travel dates and often plan our trips around great exchange opportunities — so even if our calendar looks empty, don’t hesitate to reach out! We’re happy to consider proposals any time.

Neighbourhood

We live in a newly built area, that has been developing really nicely, but also neighbouring some of the beautiful older areas of our district.

Getting to my home

There is a metro station on our street. It is about 7 mins walking distance. The metro line takes you to the center in 15 minutes. There are also several tram stops in a walking distance and bus stops that serve you depending on where you wish to go to.

Vienna Airport is about an hour away by public transport

Getting Around

Several trams and buses stop close to our house and there is a metro station in a walking distance.

Hi everybody! We are Olga & Wayne. We travel with our daughter and usually look for longer simultaneous or globe exchanges of at least 3 weeks. We gladly take care of pets. We can also offer our place occasionally for a short non-sim/globe exchange.
