Neighbourhood
I live in a tight knit, owner occupied, marina community. There is a floating "food court" on the docks but neighbourhood is residential with incredible walking paths downtown and around the harbour. All amenities (Grocery, bakery, pharmacy, restaurants and shops are within walking distance)
Nearest airport
YYJ international is 45 minutes away. Helijet and floatplane terminals are 15 min walk.
Getting Around
All essentials as well as downtown Victoria is about a 15-20 minute walk. There is a beautiful walkway around the entire harbour (including parks and beaches) through this area as well.
Public transport (bus stop) is about 300 metres away. There is also a harbour taxi about 25 metres away that can take you by little boat around the harbour.
A car is recommended to travel around to really enjoy the more remote natural areas of Vancouver Island and British Columbia, but public transport is available in the Victoria area.
