General overview
1 bedroom apartment in La Veleta area, in Tulum Mexico. It's dreamy and has an amazing view to the jungle where we have seen some amazing toucans and little foxes.
It has wide windows that keep it well lit, and black-out curtains for a good quality sleep.
It's inside a small 10-apartment complex, so it's private and most of the times quiet. It has a shared nice swimming pool in the common area.
This is the perfect place to disconnect for a while (as phone signal won't be too good!). But as one of us is a digital nomad, we do have wifi in the apartment.
The space
1BR with a Queen size bed, and a sofa-bed in the living room. We have an inflatable mattress that you can use if needed! It's perfect for a 2 people visit, but we have had as much as 5 people living here temporarily.
One spacious bathroom with shower inside.
In the common areas you'll find a gym and a swimming pool. Both open from 8am to 8pm.
The kitchen is equipped with an induction stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, air fryer, Nespresso, fridge and freezer, pans... we use it on a daily basis to cook so you'll find all the basic stuff!
We are non-smokers and our home is open to other non-smokers and people who wish to visit this town and learn about its culture, explore the nature, relax by the beach... No parties allowed, no alcohol abuse, no smoking or intaking of any other substances allowed in our home.

It's located in a second floor. The complex doesn't have an elevator.
Notes
This is our main home, so it will be full of our personal belongings. However, we will make sure to leave some room so you can store your belongings too and feel at home.

Neighbourhood
It's located in the neighborhood called La Veleta in Tulum. Around 15 minutes from the downtown area and 15 minutes from the beach by motorcycle / car.
Streets are unpaved, but remember, this is the jungle! - and Tulum is still growing. We've been living here for 2 years full-time and it's all part of a magical experience.
Getting to my home
It depends on where you're coming from. Tulum will have international flights starting in march 2024!!! So make sure to check that out.
If there's no direct flight, the best idea is to fly in to Cancún. You'll find lots of transportation options from there (ADO bus, taxis, private transportation...). If you need any recommendations or help booking those, I'll be happy to help :)
Nearest airport
Tulum's airport is around 40minutes from home, or Cancún's airport is 2 hours away.
Getting around
You can find stores nearby, but not on a walkable distance. We've chosen our home away from the daily buzz so it's located a bit deep in the joungle. Biking or renting a scooter / ATV is highly encouraged. A car could be a better idea if you want to move around and discover mayan ruins, cenotes, or little magical towns nearby!
We'll provide a booklet with all our recommendations of places to visit, which might be more centered in cultural & outdoor activities than in Tulum's party life. But if you're looking for that night life, I'll do my best to tell you about it too!
